Who Feels This Way?
R.I.P. United States of America!!! You raised the cost of living so high that both parents are always at work, rather than spending time with their children (single parents stand no chance). You took God out of schools. Parents were told 'No you can't discipline your kids'. But the police can beat them for not obeying simple commands.....Well, America, our kids are disrespectful. You shall reap what you sow, and we have lost a whole generation and turned them into rude, selfish, brats who have no respect for people, property or authority! You deemed people with terminal illnesses and some with only a few months to live…fit for work!!! You allow our veterans of war to go homeless and hungry but give out millions to foreign aid!!! You save drug addicts over and over again but refuse to give free diabetic supplies. You bend over backwards to be politically correct, too scared to say enough is enough, in case you offend. You put the retirement age up so people must work until they drop!! People depend on handouts and food banks, while we give aid to others who can work for it. Our retired generation rely on inadequate state pensions, their thanks for working hard. Things need to change!💯
I think both sides can get behind that statement.
ReplyDeleteI think so too.
DeleteThis really has nothing to do with anything but I feel I'd like to say it. To say I don't always agree with Joe's views is probably an understatement. However, what I DO believe about him is that he is a man of great compassion and generosity. He just operates behind the scenes and doesn't make a huge production of it. He has a great love for animals and child. Nobody else posts lost pets for free when their owners hearts are breaking. Joe got a really bad and unfair rep when a child was murdered a few years ago. Because I know what he did, but he wouldn't even defend himself by revealing what he did.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's why I continue to read this blog.
I'm not quite a Republican, not quite a Democrat.
I would also like to add what Jesus said about doing good deeds. He said if you do something good for someone and brag about it,that's the only reward you get. But if you do your good deeds secretly without exceptions, you have stored treasures in heaven. There are some "do gooders" in Salisbury Maryland that have received all their gonna get. Because they are frauds and braggerts and they have commercialized the homeless.
DeleteEnough said.
I DO NOT agree with most of this!!! The biggest being inadequate state pensions, YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJersey Boy, When you grow up and become a man you will understand and agree, if the country can survive that long.
DeleteAmen 100 times over.
ReplyDeleteVery true statements.
ReplyDeleteWhich explains why so many people are frustrated with our government. I truly believe this is why Trump was elected- an entire swath of America is fed up with the liberalization of our country.
Start in your own heart and go from there...
ReplyDeleteAmen
ReplyDeletewhat doers the signature mean: 100?
ReplyDeleteOne hundred percent in agreement!
ReplyDeleteI worry for my children and possible grandchildren.
I have one still living at home with me because he cannot
afford an apartment on the wages that employers pay and the
high cost of living.
It takes more than one income to get by and
even with two incomes, there is barely enough for any disposable income
for a night out for dinner or a movie.
Vacations are now at home!
I can definitely say my parents had it better than me, and this next generation will have it worse!
OH. THIS again.
ReplyDeleteWe are in the GREATEST TIME TO BE ALIVE. This is not even debatable. No other time in history has health care been as good or available, life spans are longer, infant mortality the highest. The greatest amount of wealth and prosperity.. our poor are overweight and have air conditioning. COME ON!
We carry in our pockets technology not only to connect to anyone at anytime anywhere, but we can tap into almost all of the knowledge that has been gathered instantly.
We can travel in ways and to places in unprecedented and easy ways. The world is connected in more ways than ever. Education and knowledge are expanding at exponential rates.
Crime rates and violence are down, it is safer than ever to have your children play outside.
Without question, it is the greatest time to be alive, and the greatest time to be American.
The cost of living - Capitalism, and what the market will bear. Business owners keeping wages low. ALSO people living outside their means, and credit card companies taking advantage.
ReplyDeleteNO ONE has take God out of school, hard stop. Compulsory participation in religious ritual that infringes peoples rights has been removed. Anyone can still pray, anyone can have religious clubs, bring in bibles, etc. This tired false meme is tired and false. 70% of this country is Christian, you think that stops when they walk through school doors? This is just dumb. What is true is you can't use the schools to force feed your religion on other peoples kids.
My child is respectful and well behaved, and we have never hit him. Oh, we are atheists who don't go to church that are loving and kind and involved in his life and schooling. That is where the problem is, parents not involved.
Totally agree about the inadequate treatment of our vets, with so much going out in foreign aid.
I agree with the drugs and diabetes example.. in fact it's abominable that we are so far behind all the first world countries with single payer health care.
Free speech is still free, but you are still responsible for what you say. You don't get a pass. This is not political correctness, it's someone exercising their free speech to disagree with your ideas.
Look... all in all this is STILL the greatest nation in the world (history) and we live in the greatest time to be alive in all of human history. No matter how good it can get, it can always be better. Quit complaining and do something about it. That, is how change happens. Don't just cry, and expect someone else to do it.
I'd be more worried about the land water and air.
