SEAFORD — Two of three Peebles department stores in Sussex County are being converted to Gordmans, another chain under the Stage Stores retail umbrella that offers low prices as an off-price retailer.
“We are planning to convert the Peebles locations in Seaford and Milford, to Gordmans stores in the spring of 2020,” said Blakeley Graham, manager of brand publicity for State Stores. “Both Peebles and Gordmans are part of the Stage community of stores.”
Discount sales are underway at Peebles locations in the Seaford Village shopping center Sussex Highway and Milford Plaza in preparation for the conversion.
The fate of the Peebles store in the Rehoboth Mall is uncertain.
