Tens of Thousands of Water Bottles Intended for Hurricane Victims Were Found in Puerto Rico Field

Tens of thousands of water bottles meant for survivors of the two hurricanes that pummeled Puerto Rico in 2017 have been found sitting unopened and expired on a private estate.

Aerial images from the news agency AFP show fields covered in piles of water bottles, many packaged in giant bundles that look like they were never opened. AFP said the site is about 25 miles west of San Juan.

A spokesman for the Federal Emergency Management Agency told AFP the water bottles had been sent to Puerto Rico as part of relief efforts after Hurricane Maria in September 2017, which destroyed much of the United States territory and, by some estimates, killed nearly 3,000 people. The storm hit just two weeks after Hurricane Irma skirted the island, causing widespread damage and power outages.

  2. Nobody would pay off the dumbocrat politicians, so the bottled water sat there to rot while the politicians complained that our President wasn't sending relief!

They just wanted to make a buck and score political points!

This needs to be highly publicized so the P.R. people can realize that the dumbocrats they elected to represent them are only out to help themselves - not caring if they screw over their own people!

  4. After the gross mismanagement of the relief funds by the P.R. Politicians, President Trump didn’t want to send more money. The Socialist Democrats would not agree to relief funds for the gulf coast area until he agreed to sending more money to P.R.
WHY WOULD ANYBODY VOTE FOR THESE CROOKED SOCIALIST DEMOCRAT POLITICIANS!!!

    1. Plastic breaks down in sun and can leach into the contents plus seals begin to losin, creating contamination with outside contents (moisture, bacteria)

  6. That was done by the liberals who run the government so they could bash Trump and say he’s doing nothing and done care. What does it take for people to wake up and see liberals hate you.

  7. Who owns that field? They had to know it was there! Why did they stay silent if they didn’t. Did they have something to do with it? If they didn’t then again why didn’t they sound the alarms?

  8. The bottles were kept from the people for political reasons. To make it look like Trump was not helping them and make him look bad. This is democrats folks. Now you know their true nature. People dying of thirst and they tell the leader of the country to sit on the bottles and hide the relief effort.
