  3. Guess that's why the $7.99 Food Lion arrangements look better than the $79.99 ones from Kittys! Seriously, embarrassingly skimpy to give as a gift!

    1. I was ripped off by them. My husband sent me a dozen roses for my Bd. They were delived by a woman. Only 10 roses in case not 12. Called - nothing done about it. No apology. Nothing. The arrangement was pathic. No babies breath - no nothing just 10 roses that died 2 days later.

    2. Full of crap. Very good about correcting any mistakes. Have had them bend over backwards to fix a problem. Great customer service.

  6. I have a corporate account there, and hated to order flowers from them because of her bad attitude. I mentioned it to Wayne several years ago. I guess now, he wishes he would have let her go.

    1. I worked there and she was literally the only person I would t talk to. She has a horrible attitude and treated everyone like she was better then them. She is getting what she deserves and aging horribly I might add...

  7. I understand what you mean 5:16PM. Picked up a hyacinth for my Mom at Easter and paid over $40.00 for one plant. Guess they were charging for the container (plastic) it came in as their prices have skyrocketed the past few years.. Sams Club has nicer arrangements for a whole lot less...and they last forever!

    1. You need to get out more buddy, she was a solid 7 in her prime, and she is way past that... Even when she was decent her attitude was terrible, thought she was better than everyone else. I bet that will work out well for her in prison.

  11. As a bookkeeper, I can't tell how many owners don't bother to review their books or their bank statements. While you are sitting at home watching tv you can be looking over your bank statement and look at those check images. IMO they are just as responsible for the theft as the employee is because they did not do their due diligence protecting themselves and their business

  15. Wow. 4 years this woman was ripping off Kitty’s and they just now busted her? $100K is a lot of money to go “missing” even over that time span especially for a local business that doesn’t employ a lot of people. Not like Kitty’s is the size of Perdue. Sad that this gal ruined the rest of her life for some money. I guess if criminals were smart, they wouldn’t be criminals in the first place.

The bank statements must be sent to your home or you personally pick them up from the bank.
An imaged check can be altered with a little patience and a good copier.
If someone opens the bank statement before you do you are Toast!

  17. $20000 pilfered per year over a 5 year period, and nobody at Kitty's was noticing??? They must have too much money to count and keep track of! Poor old Kitty would be rolling over in her grave if she knew it. Penny, sounds like the kids need you back to run the place.

you can see them online. it is 2019. its not rocket science. don't let your bookkeeper open your mail. you do it. its called protocol. I have had owners open them, review them and then give them to me.

    quit making excuses.
