ReplyDeleteThat is quite the story. And how does a guy on Mt Hermon Rd and his dog interact with a guy and his dog on Bell Ave.
ReplyDeleteMany years ago, living in the vicinity of Bell Ave, Larry's dog got out and went after my dog. I got the impression Larry really didn't care much about the issue, which led me to have the attitude that if it happened again, I would let my dog defend herself next time instead of me getting in the middle of it.
Larry needs to invest in a better fence.

His neighbor is the one with the dog who bit his dog. She lost control of it again and Dodd called police. She called her boyfriend who decided to attack Dodd For reporting it.

ReplyDeleteThis is my observation on the subject. A similar incident happened in the Town of OC when another notorious firefighter was running for political office. My recollection of the incident was that the firefighter that was runnung for political office went into damage control and sought the political endorcement by Norman Conway in order to try and allay public fears. IT BACKFIRED AND COST BOTH NORM HIS JOB AND THE FIREFIGHTER LOST THE ELECTION TO.

ReplyDeleteI wish it were that simple, but take a moment to reflect on how neighborly arguments escalate, and the personalities involved.
2 sides to every story and they both obviously handled it wrong.
A single mother with 2 kids being evicted out of her house because of a complaining faux political wanna be? Yea thats not stressful
And neighbors being harassed because she would not take the time to properly restrain her dog.
Maybe he could have offered to assist her in finding a solution to her escape artist dog instead of complaining and having her evicted. Isn't his position, as a council person, to aide and find solutions to the public's issues?
People need to spend less time being assholes and more time, taking personal responsibility, helping each other and finding solutions to their problems without creating harm.
Who cares about the human. How is the dog recovering?

This is the only thing I think too. The assailant and the "victim" are both 2 losers with a combined IQ somewhere in the imbecile range obviously. Of course the guy had no right to go on someone else's property but if Dodd had a brain he wouldn't have been standing out of the porch with a baseball bat. He would have stayed inside with doors locked and called 911. But Noooooooo the moron Dodd attempted to show his arse and got it beat for his own stupidity. Now back to the dogs. It's a shame losers like the now defendant's girlfriend and Dodd even own dogs. Both are irresponsible losers.

ReplyDeleteA similar incident happened in Worcester County where Firefighter Kranz was running for Worcester County Commissioner. In an effort to try and calm the public fears about the incident he tried to ride on the political coattail of Norman Conway. One of the above posters was right - it backfired big time. And both Kranz and Conway lost the elections. A few have said that Kranz's charade pulled the whole democratic party into the gutter.
