The crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border has exploded.
Border agents apprehended 144,278 migrants in May, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Acting Chief (CBP) Operating Officer John P. Sanders told reporters Wednesday. That’s a 32% increase over April, he said.
“We are in a full-blown emergency, and I cannot say this stronger: the system is broken,” Sanders said. The chief said that nearly 700,000 foreigners have been apprehended in the past eight months, which he noted is “more than the population of Miami.”
The May total was the highest in 13 years, border officials said, and included 11,391 “inadmissibles.” Last month’s total was also a 182% over May 2018.

ReplyDeleteUse of gas is not inhumane. Post signs and then they are warned then gas them heavily. This is not using deadly force and it protects US sovernty and border security. The illegals are the ones who are putting children in danger not the US / Border Patrol.
