President Trump said on Thursday that his administration will impose tariffs on Mexico until the country somehow stops the flow of migrants coming across the US-Mexico border.
Trump said on Twitter that the tariffs will go into effect in a matter of days and the levies could get more severe over time if the immigration crisis continues.
“On June 10th, the United States will impose a 5% Tariff on all goods coming into our Country from Mexico, until such time as illegal migrants coming through Mexico, and into our Country, STOP,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
“The Tariff will gradually increase until the Illegal Immigration problem is remedied, …at which time the Tariffs will be removed.”

Something has to be done. Democratic led Congress has chosen not to support border security, even though they did prior to Trump being POTUS. They disregard the people who elected them to office to support illegal immigrants crossing our borders. THEY are the ones who should be impeached for disregarding our current policies.
ReplyDeleteTrump should offer them Military funding to shoot and kill the invaders!
ReplyDeleteThese migrants should be rounded up and sent packing back to the country they migrated from. Asylum says you are to seek it in the first country out of the harm country, that would be Mexico!
ReplyDeleteYou got to hand it to Trump, whether you love him or hate him. He always finds a way of getting their attention.
