    1. So much for respecting the privacy of all involved.

    2. They deserve no respect

    3. Why do they deserve so much privacy and respect opposed to anyone else?

    4. You’re right. When your child does something horrible, hopefully it will be displayed all over the media. That way it will make it even more difficult for everyone to heal.

    5. Yes I would like this to be kept out of the limelight so that the kids planning mass murder won't have their future success spoiled.

    6. 11:40 must be your child or relative. Unlike you,i already know that god forbid my child did that there's that high chance they ll be exposed and i tell them that. I as a parent know how i raised them and if they make a negative choice they ll have to accept the consequence. I doubt parents and loved ones of those killed and harmed by others who had a previous history or was a threat prior would disagree w/ u also. Covering will do nothing more then teach them someone will cover their mess and cover you or their parent s embarrassment

    7. These people could learn from the officer who turned his son in. Not tried to cover it up. By the way, it made national news so shhhing it is not going to cut it. Deal w/ it.

    8. I guarantee Worcester school system would have kept it hush hush if they could have. Thank God the kids told their parents.

    1. SHMS and SHHS have serious bullying issues, but it’s all been ignored by the administration.

    2. I thought you tell your parents or an adult, not plan a mass shooting.

  5. Privacy my ass.... String them out in the light. Humiliate the hell out of them. Make am example that will follow them the rest of their life. An example for any others thinking they can plan the same thing.

    1. Yeah, that thought has worked really well so far for all the other criminals. That’s why our jails are almost empty.

    2. Right! What privacy did they expect planning a mass shooting. Sounds like you wanted attention. Well now you got it. Hope they are punished as anyone else unrelated or disadvantaged would be.

    3. So because they didn't shoot anyone their names are kept secret but if they did it their faces and names would be all over world news. Sounds like the next nut job will really think twice about it.

  7. Snow Hill has had a lot of issues for a lot of years. I went to school there way back in the early 70's and a lot of bullying was there then.Teachers and staff were afraid of the students. Sounds as though that has not changed in all these years.

  8. At least Heiser is an attorney who can handle business, such as this case. McDermott went to blindly follow Jamie Dykes, to continue his "career". Keep that back scratching going, pay it forward at someone else's expense!

  9. Northwest Woodsman: Attended SHHS in the late 50s and don’t ever recall any fights or bullying at all. No drugs that I was aware of and the only law enforcement issue was when one of my classmates got caught stealing hubcaps from a 1956 Buick. Seems as though behavioral issues began subsequent to forced integration that came along in the mid 60s. Just saying!

  10. I find it amazing that Lou Taylor spoke nothing about this girl being constantly bullied while in school. Despite many complaints by the parents, nothing was done. TIME TO LOOK AT SCHOOL RECORDS.....

    1. You hit a brick wall when you report that stuff. My son had a student write a letter (elementary school) that said "fu#% (my child's name here)" and the staff at this embarrassment of an elementary school (in wicomico county) tried to guide me to believe that the child must have written this because he was tired of something involving my child... they'll BS their way out of handling situations until something like this happens, then they'll stand on their soap box to the media. I'm absolutely supportive of threats taken seriously and appropriate investigations that are detailed and thorough, but if this child was bullied and there is a documented trail of such (that could be destroyed by the school(s) to protect themselves), then SHAME on them and they had a hand in failing this child! Bullying absolutely has a very strong effect on behavior and thoughts!

  11. I think if you look at all past school shootings, most or almost all shooters were bullied. Being bullied is horrible but I don’t believe that gives the victim the right to murder those responsible. I hated 6th and 7th grade thanks to some mean girls bullying me. However I got passed it and it made me stronger. In today’s world the bullying doesn’t stop at school. It’s online at home. You hope the school and more importantly the bullies’ parents could stop the bullying but if not get some therapy for the victim. They can and will get passed this. Violence is not the answer.

    1. You are correct, violence isn't the answer. But when a system is in place that's guided by law(s) on attendance and adherence to rules and regulations in school etc, a school cannot pick and chose which to enforce (if that is the case here). You punch someone in the face on a school bus, you may leave a physical scar that may or may not go away. You bully someone, you leave an emotional scar that may or not may go away. The child punching will likely face a suspension, the children bullying it seems rarely get disciplined and the end results in the past have been suicides, murder, threats of violence... you name it! A good tactic would be to have a true policy on bullying that is adhered to and where it's investigated aggressively as research can likely support that the lack of attention in this area can lead the target of such bullying to things that are viewed as far worse than bullying itself. There are no excuses for violence, but if there is a common theme of that which is leading up to it, why not devote equal resources to holding those accountable who are contributing to a toxic environment on the mental health of individuals that are in a stage of critical development in their lives.

  12. Yea and great big steve price as a security administrator driving around a tahoe with emergency lights. How is he authorized to have emergency equipment on a board of education vehicle and he not a Police officer?

    1. He can't. It's against the law for him to use them. But the school cop turned Sheriff wouldn't do anything about it anyway.

  13. How long did the school know about this plan before they let the sheriffs office know about it?
Lou Taylor is a joke. SDHS had so much shit swept underneath the rug (Drugs, fights, weapons,) just to make his look good.
