In the wake of federal raids at the homes and City Hall offices of embattled Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh, one report asserted she has skipped town.
The first-term Democratic mayor slipped out of sight April 1, citing deteriorating health, just as Gov. Larry Hogan called on the state prosecutor to investigate allegations of "self-dealing." She has not been heard from since.
But after the Thursday morning raids, Hogan joined calls for her immediate resignation.
Meanwhile, CBS affiliate WJZ reported Pugh was at her home when the raid began — and has since left the state.
According to the Associated Press, Pugh's main spokesman, James Bentley, said he had not spoken with her and does not even know where she is.

ReplyDeleteThe sun said her lawyers said she was not lucid enough to decide about resigning. They expect her to make that decision next week. The action g mayor fired her aides. Seems like the city council should step up and take action, if they can. Not sure about how they remove a mayor -notify her shes fired or impeachment. She needs to go for the good of the city.

DeleteNo different then what the Clintons did with their foundation while she was secretary of state. The only difference is clinton is white so never will be prosecuted. If pugh were white they would never have raided her house. They would have asked nicely for her to turn over things and if she destroyed anything it would be okay. But she is black so she is getting treated differently.

Pugh is a minor player in the Dem scheme and can provide some distraction and racist innuendo, which always gets people riled and gives fodder to the MSM race baiters and their contributors.
