BALTIMORE —Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh spoke out Thursday for the first time about her book deal with the University of Maryland Medical System.
The news conference was scheduled with little notice after the mayor was released from a four-day stay in the hospital for treatment of pneumonia.
"I sincerely want to say I apologize that I have done something to upset the people, the people of Baltimore that I love and care for," said Pugh.
Pugh was hoarse and visibly tired as she addressed the controversy about her deal with the University of Maryland Medical System.

ReplyDeleteMRI failed to find a conscience in her. The half-million (500K) she stole might have paid for some heated classrooms in Harm City schools this winter, for the Baltimorons she's so fond of. Total BS!
