Speaking at a news conference on voting rights with Rep. Lloyd Dogget (D-Texas) in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said immigrants “make America more American,” and we should not be “suppressing the vote of our newcomers to America.”
“So, when we talk about newcomers, we have to recognize the constant re-invigoration of America that they are, that we all have been – our families,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi said. “And that, unless you're blessed to be Native American – which is a blessing in itself that we respect – but that constant re-invigoration of hope, determination, optimism, courage, to make the future better for the next generation, those are American traits.
"And these newcomers make America more American. And we want them, when they come here, to be fully part of our system. And that means not suppressing the vote of our newcomers to America.”

ReplyDeletePelosi attempting to change US Constitution in another step, since you have to be a citizen to vote. She is attempting to allow illegals the right to vote.
ReplyDeleteThe perverts known as Democrats want those illegal votes so desperately.
ReplyDeleteIdiot Nancy, they are still illegals and have no right to vote! You want them to vote for democrats because democrats are leaving you fast!
ReplyDeleteHow many times can Piglise sell her soul to stay in power?
ReplyDeleteif they are legal citizens then we dont want them suppressed either. Only Legal citizens are allowed to vote in our system and it should stay that way.
ReplyDeleteHR1 is also about getting rid of the electoral college. They want it gone to go with popular vote. With that goes your voice and vote. The biggest states like California and the largest counties will control whom gets elected. small states and counties will have no say in who gets elected. That is how the electoral is set up. it give all a voice and vote. Gerrymandering also needs to be stopped that's the same thing. Gives way for the biggest counties control.
