BALTIMORE — Federal agents arrested a self-proclaimed white nationalist and lieutenant in the Coast Guard on gun and drug charges, accusing him of plotting a massive domestic terror attack against politicians and journalists.
On Friday, FBI agents and Coast Guard Investigative Service officials arrested Christopher Hasson, 49, of Silver Spring, on federal charges of possession of firearms and ammunition by an unlawful user or addict of controlled substances and possession of tramadol.
Federal officials said agents found a stash of weapons and ammunition in Hasson's Silver Spring apartment.
Court documents claim Hasson wrote in an email, "I am dreaming of a way to kill almost every last person on Earth." Prosecutors said in a detention document that Hasson intended "to murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country."
The documents claim Hasson was stockpiling supplies for more than a year and had a spreadsheet of targets.

I do find this all too convenient that the dialog can be so easily shifted to this issue from the Jussie Smollet issue. I'm sure that MSNBC et al will be all over this and Van Jones will have something in the way of a color-situated statement to say about it. I hope that I'm wrong but I won't be.
