E. coli fears prompt cauliflower and lettuce recall

Cauliflower, red leaf lettuce and green leaf lettuce harvested at the end of November is being recalled amid E. coli fears.

Adam Bros. Farming in Santa Maria, Calif., is believed to be the source of the potential outbreak although none of its products have yet to test positive for E. coli.

“Adam Bros. Farming, Inc. feels a strong commitment to its customers and has worked for years to provide a safe and healthy food supply,” reads a statement from the produce maker. “Out of an abundance of caution, Adam Bros. Farming, Inc., is initiating this voluntary recall in cooperation with the FDA.”
