Attorney General Frosh Files Lawsuit to Protect Marylanders from the Trump Administration’s Sabotage of the Affordable Care Act
BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh filed alawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland against the Trump Administration, seeking a declaratory judgment that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is constitutional and the federal government must stop taking actions to dismantle it. Elimination of the ACA would imperil the health of millions of Marylanders, wreak havoc on our state budget, and destabilize the Maryland’s health insurance markets and health care system.

If my health insurance goes up any more I'm going to sue every Dem that tried to breath life in the ACA. The only people it benefits are...no one.
ReplyDeleteIn the words of Bob Barker "This guy sucks...."
ReplyDeleteLittle do you realize single payer systems actually SAVE taxpayer money.
ReplyDeleteWhat a snowflake. I wish he could get some viable competition. It is obvious he has his sights on a higher office someday.
ReplyDeletePolitical grandstanding. That's all he's doing.
ReplyDeleteMD is a blue state.
ReplyDeleteWe do not need protection from that atrocity Frosh. You sir are an a$$hat!! MD would not have such an issue with the ACA if DA O'malley did not take so much money and try to be a hero heading into his presidential run - we all see where that got him. People in Maryland - please take an honest look at what the ACA did to Maryland. You need to look at all aspects including how public agencies provide services. Federally, we need to look at mortality rates in hospitals since the ACA wrecked the system. AND don't forget the doctor shortage crisis we are seeing due to the ACA.
ReplyDeleteWhich Marylander's is he protecting? We need someone to protect our tax dollars from this left wing idiot! Remember obama care only works for those who dont !
ReplyDeleteSee this is how stupid and obtuse these ass hats are, Even if it is legal, or in this case declared constitutional, that doesn't mean there is no right or laws saying you can't remove it... That is part of how the democratic process works...
ReplyDeleteCudos! He's 100 percent correct.
ReplyDeleteMaryland is working on FORCING you to either pay for UNAFFORDABLE healthcare or will FORCE you to pay MARYLAND the penalty that TRUMP said you no longer have to pay.
ReplyDeleteYOU are going to get screwed either way. If FROSH was so concerned about you he would have SUED the feds for PASSING this POS legislation in the first place
He didn't care about you before, and now he is acting like he is your defender and it is all about the $$$.
Don't do us any favors....
ReplyDeleteAs a Marylander, I hope you lose, Frosh.
ReplyDeleteBig time.
And next time.
We need protection from the attorney general!
ReplyDeleteThe phrase "at the discretion of the secretary" appears over nine hundred times in the text of the Affordable Care Act.
ReplyDeleteWhat part of, at the discretion of the secretary, does Mr. Frosh not understand?
SBJ
Dave T: How is it sabotage to stop something unconstitutional and unethical in the first place? Rammed down our throats, while pushing some people out of insurance, while penalizing others who can't afford it. And you clowns call it sabotage? Learn how to write and stop pretending to be a journalist. This isn't news, it's garbage. Trump is eliminating something created by Obozo, that's useless to the American people and our economy. The only sabotage I see are liberals writing propaganda and calling it news.
ReplyDeleteAll of this is already happening you moron! Fines for not having insurance, high deductibles, high priced insurance, etc,etc,etc...of course he already knows this. He just wants another reason to sue.
ReplyDeletehogan, can't you even pretend to disagree with this fool!
ReplyDelete10:24 YOU ARE SPOT ON ! Premiums went up 26% every year for 3 straight years here at my private sector job. The deductible doubled. Then there is this tax "penalty" if you don't have insurance, its a freaking tax and it is unconstitutional!,don't piss on my head and tell me its "yellow rain"!
ReplyDeleteOMG. Can We,the people of Maryland GET THIS SOCIALIST RAT OUT OF OFFICE!?
ReplyDeleteWhen a SOCIALIST DEMOCRAT says "He wants to save You from something, you better watch out for getting screwed again. Frosh should of been gone months ago, why is he still there? Fire this Moron Now!
Vote Craig Wolf for Md Attorney General. A good man, and a vet. google him and you will find he is a good man and very qualified and he will Stop the madness against Trump. Get out and Vote in November. Vote Republican across the the ballot. Do not sit it out. If you want better for Md then you must vote all these Democrats out. Vote Tony Campbell and Andy Harris. Trump needs that support as well. Let the red wave roll!
ReplyDeleteOnce again another Trump hater who happens to be up for re-election and doing all he can to sue his way out of office. Frosh is a joke and he should keep his suits up. The faster he’s voted out, the better. Vote responsibly.
ReplyDeleteThe only people ACA affects are those that can't get a job with an employer that provides a group plan and those that don't want insurance. Those that don't want insurance should be fined for not having it because they end up going to the hospital and the taxpayer/everyone else gets stuck with the bill.
