More Local Liberal Crap Coming Your Way, WBOC To Purchase WRDE
Information has just been released in which WBOC is under contract to purchase the failing WRDE. This must have been a fire sale because WRDE was/is pretty much worthless. Nevertheless, WBOC seems to be desperate to hold a monopoly on controlling your local news, or should I say liberal brainwashing?
Perhaps worthless to you, but since the World does not revolve around just you and your opinion, does not mean the whole Universe thinks like you. After all this IS America and we all are free to have choices.
That's what it will be, a monopoly. Looks like they are trying to take control of both Radio and TV. Is this legal? Hopefully the FCC will revoke this contract.
11:14, Envy, no. Here's what I think. Number one, ANYTHING is an improvement over what WRDE has now. However, I tell my side of the news, (conservative) while every other news organization brainwashes Liberal Fake News. I am #1 because I share the TRUTH. I am willing to publishing the hard hitting topics like the Priests and the Catholic Church or even rainbow colored cross walks. I expose rapes and crime in Salisbury. I have sources second to none. Now IF WBOC wants to sell their Fox News channel, that's a whole different story. I'd be very interested in buying that.
I am truly at a loss with this hilariously funny, but sad subject.
You can purchase all the properties that distribute news/information, but if the message isn't clear, concise, objective AND informative - then that pig wearing lipstick is still a pig!
One thing is certain, DELMARVA's leader with NEWS and INFORMATION is SBYNEWS.
3 days until TGIF, nice weather on the horizon and the vacationers are GONE! One cannot have it any better!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anonymous Anonymous said... I believe Fox News and Fox Entertainment are two different networks. WBOC is a Fox Entertainment affiliate, not a Fox News affiliate.

Fox News. Fox News (officially known as the Fox News Channel, commonly abbreviated to FNC) is an American basic cable and satellite television news channel owned by the Fox Entertainment Group, a subsidiary of 21st Century Fox. The channel broadcasts primarily from studios at 1211 Avenue of the Americas, New York City.
Great. Does that mean an NBC station may soon be available over the air? Since antenna TV finally came back on the air, I have lost telemundo (no big loss since i dont speak spanish) I would welcome more variety in over the air channels.
WRDE is available with a TV Antenna. You just need to have a better antenna than what you are using,as well as the antenna needing to point in a different direction !
Maybe fake day can be program director and Duncan can be crime reporter since she loves covering up crime.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't WRDE broadcast over antenna TV? I have satellite TV and it's not carried there, either.
ReplyDeleteHard to reach an audience when you're broadcasting to just cable.
WBOC must not being to bad. They seem to have some intelligent business people running the company! Do I detect some envy????
ReplyDeleteLol who is this DAN the I can't get it right Weather man.

WRDE was off the air for several months on DISH. They said they couldn't reach an agreement. They just came back on last week.

You're welcome.

ReplyDeleteAgreed that WRDE is pretty much unwatchable. WBOC is a major jump up in quality and that's not saying much.
ReplyDeleteMy son's high school video broadcasts were better than WRDE. Holy cow!
ReplyDeleteHow about the people of the county start their own news station

ReplyDeleteI don't watch TV news broadcasts, the last one I saw was more then 30 years ago when I was living in the DC TV market.
