BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Baltimore City Police announced the arrest of an officer Wednesday.
Interim Commissioner Tuggle briefed the media on the arrest of the officer, charged with drug trafficking in Baltimore County.
Officer Spencer Moore was arrested Tuesday night on drug charges. He is a 14-year-veteran of the police department.
Police say the charges stemmed from the distribution of prescription drugs.
Tuesday Baltimore County police officers were in the area of the 1600-block of Forrest Park Avenue, when they observed a man, later identified as Spencer Moore driving a silver Lexus. Officers say they saw Moore get out of the Lexus and walk up to a white Chevrolet pickup truck in the same parking lot. They say Moore handed an object to the driver of the pickup truck and then started to walk back to the Lexus.
