President Trump should remove ALL funding given to the National Guard in Delaware, Maryland & Virginia

Carney issues firm no to request to deploy National Guard members in border area

Delaware Gov. John Carney rejected a request to send National Guard members to the Mexican border area, citing the controversial policy of separating children from detained parents.

“I take my job as Commander-in-Chief of theDelaware National Guard. extremely seriously. In the last year, we’ve sent Guardsmen and women to Texas, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico to help our fellow citizens cope with natural disasters. We’ve sent Delaware Guardsmen and women overseas to keep us safe. I’m extremely proud of Delaware’s soldiers and airmen and women. Today, we received a request to send Delaware National Guard troops to the southwest border. Under normal circumstances,we wouldn’t hesitate to answer the call. But given what we know about the policies currently in effect at the border, I can’t in good conscience send Delawareans to help with that mission,” Carney stated.

Carney continued, “If President Trump revokes the current inhumane policy of separating children from their parents, Delaware will be first in line to assist our sister states in securing the border. I served in Congress, and I watched for six years as that body failed to pass a comprehensive immigration policy that would secure our borders in a way that upholds the values of this great country. Congress and the President need to step up and fix the mess that our immigration system has become.”

  3. OK, Carny, say Trump does what you ask and you send your guys down there and they come across 7 tattooed young males with 5 children under the age of 10 crossing the border out in the middle of Nowhere. They detain all.

What will you have them do next?

    Do tell us.

  4. I agree the funds should be pulled. Md, Del,& Va governors are stupid. The are following the lead of the Dems who have over played the immigrant children thing at the border, just to stir the pot, and keep the trigger on Trump. but I bet all 3 Governors are Hillary and Biden supporters. I wish Hogan could be replaced in our current election, he should not get another term sorry I ever voted for him.

  6. These governors should be prosecuted in military tribunals. Who can deny we are under attack? We are at war. The deepstate/cabal leaders{only a few currently}are having hearings and under serious investigations{all fbi heads} The msm, whom are an arm/branch of those leading the attach against this Country, are in fact a war tool....propaganda, false narrative, lies...all war tools, acts of terrorism. These governors have join publicly in attaching our President, they have violated their oath of office by not upholding the laws of this land, refused to protect the sovereign citizens. Lets not forget the violation of trust to those that voted for these individuals. War criminals should be tried before military tribunals. The lies, the treason, the corruption....must all come to an end!!

  7. I agree to pull Federal Funds from these States. I also say pull all federal tax dollars in foreign aide to these Countries where these illegals are coming from and Mexico extra hard since they are not stopping them at their borders or allow them to seek asylum in Mexico.

  8. Stay WOKE people, the msm, the cabal, the deep state...they have forced a narrative change, again threw false projection. The narrative change is done to keep everyone from paying attention to the hearings on the IG Report, they must distract you and keep you UN-informed.

  9. Sad to be a Delaware citizen today. Carney would rather that the "illegals" be allowed to just come into our country with their children or someone else's children and "sign a promise" to come back to court. Meanwhile, we'll support them in every way possible. While a Delaware citizen, myself, 58 years old, who has worked all of my life became disabled several years ago. Dropped from full-time work to part-time and then had to quit altogether. My disability claim has been going on for over two years. I am filing for bankruptcy because I have no choice. Am sick every day of my life with something my "government" refuses to recognize as a disease even as thousands suffer from it. My insurance does not cover treatment because it is not recognized. I wouldn't even have insurance except I am on my husband's policy.
No, I do not have a problem with separating families at the border. You want to keep your children with you. Turn around and go home or come here legally.

  12. I voted for Gov. Hogan and supported him with financial contributions as I have this year also. In a deep blue state such a Maryland, it is almost impossible to be elected as a Republican, particularly to a state wide office or to a national office. With that said, it is obvious to me that Hogan has the adept ability from an intuitive standpoint to come down on the popular side of a political issue. It oftentimes is not a conservative, principled position, but one that will allow him to continue to maintain his popularity and support from a majority of Democrats (needed for re-election). It is his conservative approach to the fiscal area that allows me to overlook his aforementioned behavior and decisions. His weakness in the 2nd Amendment area, lack of appreciation and support of President Trump almost cause me to abandon support of him, however my memory returns to O'Malley, Glendening and Schafer which tends to allow me to be appreciative of Hogan's fiscal approach and actions. My prayer is, if given a second term, that he may approach governing in a more conservative and principled manner and address some of those issues that he seems to be avoiding at the present time.
