Voters DID NOT vote for this fool. I would guess a good amount of registered voters didn't even go to the polls, as this jerk was only choice at the time. No one I know voted for him he didn't have to have or need any votes, it was an automatic in for him.

DeleteI've seen them abandoned all over town..saw one on the corner of Fitzwater street next to the treatment pump place with not a soul around.. How does this work, aren't people charged by the hour and don't they have to prove the bike was returned?

In a nutshell this ad starkly contrasted what they have been doing for 14 years to Jake's upcoming 'Make A Big Splash Begathon Fest'. As a warm-up we'll be treated to the 'Run For Your Lives' marathon.
Maybe he can stage a Tour de 'bury on his rent-or-steal-a-bikes this summer.
Actual, genuine community involvement is the key to making Dogwood Festivals, Salisbury Festivals, what have you a success rather than a cabal of insiders.

ReplyDeleteCheck out Pryor Ave where they have been dumped, I see people dropping them by the roadside on Rt 13 South, they are also all over the city park abandoned. Good idea Jake almost as good as the little blue tags in the city streets to mark where the fire hydrants are, and the fence you had taken down along Riverwalk, now not just critters will wind up in the river but humans floating. What a genius does anyone know what his IQ is?
