Perhaps you have to be from a dysfunctional family to completely understand their message. It's been decades since I watched a television show that pretty much took on almost every dysfunctional challenge in our lives today and made fun of it. At this point I'm glad to see this show return.

ABC’s Roseanne returned to the television airwaves on Tuesday night and drew in more than 18 million viewers, marking TV’s largest comedy premier in years. The two-episode opening reprisal of the legendary 90s sitcom averaged an incredible 18.1 million viewers, and registered a 5.1 in the key demographic. “The first number alone is easily enough to make Roseanne the highest-rated regularly-scheduled scripted show of the last few seasons, as well as the highest-rated sitcom in recent memory,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Loved it. She hasn't lost it. While everything else on TV seeks to divide this show did an incredible job of humanizing the other side. I found myself realizing just how uptight I have even become. Great job Roseanne.
The political humor was pretty thick in the show and I think it was good to introduce us to the characters as they will be played. If it continues to be that thick, politically, I fear it will become tedious. I enjoyed it last night.
Hilarious!!!!
