An Amherst College football player who was found dead on train tracks at a MexicoCity subway station last month was murdered, according to local officials.
Andrew Dorogi was found dead on the tracks at Camarones Metro train station on March 15 at 11pm.
His death had been unexplained until Friday when Mexico's Attorney General confirmed the 21-year-old was murdered.
It is not yet clear if any suspects have been identified. Amherst's school said he was on spring break at the time but it is not clear how large the group he was in Mexico with was.

Dumbasses that keep going to Mexico almost deserve to die. Anyone with brains would avoid that shithole.
ReplyDeleteHe was drunk and on railroad tracks in a restricted area - got electrocuted. You know nothing about Mexico but don't let facts get in your way. There 2 million retirees living there without problems. Maybe he should have studied electrical engineering rather than business.
ReplyDeleteI saw a report that said he was electrocuted by the tracks. No telling how he got there.
ReplyDeleteHe was not drunk. He was held then killed. He for some reason was able to call his parents. This is beyond horrible and devastating. I’ll ne er go to Mexico and I tell everyone this story and to stay clear.
