A Viewer Writes: Monica Snee

Joe, this is off the subject, but just looked up Monica Snee (Parkside teacher turned drug dealer) I can not believe all ten charges were nolle pros what do you think about this and what went wrong. What is this justice system coming to. I am outraged over this and it gives others the go ahead to sell drugs a teacher did it and got away with it.

  1. Maybe she flipped on her supplier.

  2. Was it her first offense? A lot of people can get off on charges if they had no prior charges. Not saying it’s right but then again some could say those people deserve a second chance.

Flipped or not she still should have served time for this.

  4. Dykes is a light weight who only cares about getting elected. This will be the new norm in Wicomico. However it could have been shoddy police work that caused the case to fail. It really does not matter if she had been convicted she would have served no time anyway

    1. You must not know Jamie Dykes then. She is very tuff and dedicated to this community to keep trash off the street. Know your facts before you spout off at the mouth.

    2. If you knew ANYTHING about Jamie Dykes and her prosecutorial record you freakin moron, you would realize she is very aggressive on pursuing convictions and sentences for criminals. Crawl back under your slimy rock and please get back on your meds.

    3. Then why not prosecute if she’s sooooo aggressive?? Something made her not want to or she new she would lose. Typical justice system that will screw over the people and put a dealer back on the street!

    4. Have you considered the possibility you don't have all the facts?

  5. A new indictment came out on 3/5/18, she is still held without bond.

  6. I guess the "Drug Free School Zone" laws do not really mean anything. What a joke.

  7. Why must you people need constant reminding that a triage situation is in effect in our overcrowded prison system. These deals are worked out to incarcerate only the most serious offenders, and someone did not think she was all that serious an offender. That and what 9:55 said.

  8. I was looking forward to her in orange.

  9. Check out teachers at Pinehurst and aids there!

  10. There's two active indictments. They nolle pros'd the original cases and took them before the Grand Jury. She's still in jail. Just check all the records on case search.

  11. I recall when this story first broke. A commenter stated something like: "Wait 'til you find out who her supplier was!" The wait may be getting shorter! LOL

  12. Great example for the kids...deal dope, in a school zone no less, in a position that has a morals clause and get off scott free. Disgraceful.

  13. 10:22am:
A NEW norm? This was the norm! Matt "the Bully" did the same thing, less than 50% of his cases resulted in a guilty verdict. Big cases, little cases, all without a single word to the public.

  14. White privilege.

  15. There's no proof she did anything illegal. Drugs could have been planted in her vehicle while she was working.

  16. She Ratted on someone.

  17. 9:55. Yep, that's how it works. But, keep in mind, not pros doesn't mean she was innocent. It only means the prosecutor decided not to move forward with the charges at this time.

  18. She may not pay the piper today, but in the long run she will. Pay me now...definitely pay me later!

  19. Maybe the feds picked it up? When the feds take a case it will show up usually as nolle pros

  20. Hey overdoses on the rise and complain about drugs but charging people for their wrongs is out of the picture. Welcome to the society of making deals...even in the judiciary system. Maybe she’ll get a blue ribbon for taddling fastest on the leader. Note to self...speeding tickets and apparently not paying child support is scarier and deserves more than nolle pros

  21. Might have something to do with the prosecutor that had and the case and is no longer there...

  22. Who was the judge?

    ReplyDelete
  23. She was indicted in the Circuit Court and the District Court case had to be dismissed - she is still locked up

  24. Jamie is the hometown hero like Limelight. They both walk on water.

  25. Her charges were amended and waived up to the Circuit Court. She also has since her bond revocation been charged with destruction of property so it would seem as though she threw a royal fit in the county when they revoked her bail. I can't blame her as they essentially stole her money. That said, she is going to be made an example out of. She is going to do 20. Now as bad as her charges are a few years back, say 2014, a man Wilbur something, black guy, was caught riding through salisbury with 400 grams of heroin. His charges were all nolled. The thing is 400 grams is pushing a million dollars and yet you never heard of a huge bust from his snitching if that were the case. It's very likely his CIA supplier walked him out of the jail.

  26. Well is was let go on P R, personal recognize, that's means let go like she shop lifted at the candy store, oh she is a professional shop lifter too just look at her record, So YES she's out. WHY? Well she did use to work for the court system. She has told on drug dealers bigger then her. Sometimes the people in charge are not the ones that are running this weak show, just look at Matt when he was the top dog. What a Shame how this county and city are run. Just tell on people and act like you're not crazy. WOW!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. CLEARLY a simple case search will show you she was indicted AGAIN. The old case was dismissed. She has a new case open for the same charges. Not uncommon at all. She DID NOT GET off!! Her case is still going forward!! Yes. She was released, but blame the “justice reinvestment act” for that blunder. It has nothing to do with the states attorneys office.

    ReplyDelete
  28. None of her charges were dropped. They were just bumped up to the circuit court. This is what happened when a defendant is facing serious charges and will have the option of having a jury hear the case. It even says on MD case search the charges were "Forwarded-Circuit Court.

  29. She should be made an example of and sent away for the rest of her garbage life. She was a teacher and they should hold themselves up to a higher standard and if they don't and they are caught selling the poison they should rot away in prison. Personally I think she should be executed since only the Lord know how many people she murdered with what she was selling.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It does matter if she was released. She already said she would flee or kill herself. Completely in disbelief of the system here anymore

    ReplyDelete
  31. Just in case you haven't noticed, what other industries - other than the drug business is left in Salisbury? All of the other legitimate businesses have fled or vanished! Maryland's practically run all of them out of here.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well she's out and the man she lied about sent to prison is out to but not after spending 3 1/2 years of his life in prison. The state attorneys office even helped her and her son make up lies on this man. I should say assistant state attorney. I don't know the new state attorney. I wish her well. I want to know how many people died with the drugs she was selling. They should go arrest that assistant state attorney because she knew this woman was selling drugs. The man told her but she's a Pa girl just trying to make a name. She's got one and it's lazy. That comes from the police. March 26 is the date for the phone business. Find out the judges name who let her out on P R And make don't vote for him or her. What a shame

    ReplyDelete
  33. except drug companies and those who are starting their own drug company...off the books that is...and whatever happened to innocence until PROVEN guilty....i'm thinking salisbury is a depot for gossip mongers and finger waggers...

    ReplyDelete
  34. I call it now. She asks for job back because “innocent” and sues BoE...

    ReplyDelete
  35. This is done all the time. They indict through Circuit Court. This gets rid of the prelims and other wrangling buy the def. As for Dykes she is hands down better than what Matt M. stuck you with. Adios Ella don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. Take your boy toy with you. Snee is still held without bond. I will say this this bond is not a form of punishment. It is a surety that one will appear on the charges brought by the state. I do not think she is a runner. So why no bond. If she were Black she would be walking the streets. It will all play out in time.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I agree why no bond makes no sense. She will get time and learn a valuable lesson or not. As for Jamie Dykes shes got this S/A thing down. She needs to clean house. Ton of hypocrites in the S/As Office right now. No morals.

  37. Hey 11:17 what do you think P R means? She was let out on Personal Recognize. We all hope that she will get 20 years but when you're a snitch you can get set free. By the the way, this drug dealer and her lawyers husband, who was in charge of the public defenders office at the time, teamed up to put that man in prison. It's all in the family in this little city. How much money do you need Mrs. McFadden. THIS DRUG DEALER WAS SELLING DRUGS ON SCHOOL GROUND!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!! I hope you lose a lot of business when people learn who you really are.. Mrs. Dukes I wish you of you luck. I really do. What judge let her out?
