Is it just me or does there seem to be more accidents on RT.113 since they made it a dual highway? I swear there weren't as many accidents when it was a 2 lane road. Probably because it is now a wide highway and poor drivers are driving at 70+ mph, before it was narrow and the poor drivers wouldn't even drive the 55 mph speed limit.
I always get a laugh when driving south on 113 going from Berlin to Pocomoke, drivers will be doing 70+ from Berlin then when it becomes 2 lanes before Snow Hill the same drivers will be doing 50 then when they get north of Snow Hill they will be back up to 70. From Snow Hill to Pocomoke they will be doing 70 in big SUV's and slam on their brakes for all the sweeping corners.
Easy to tell lousy drivers. They are the ones that can't maintain a steady speed on a highway. If you have to slow down for a corner on a road then you were going to fast for you and your cars ability on that road(unless of course there is a slow down sign for the corner).

A slow down sign? lol I know what you meant but it just sounded funny to me. Black numbers on yellow background is the recommended safe speed. You don't HAVE to go that speed but it is recommended that you do to be safe. If something were to happen such as an accident and it could be proven you were driving faster than the recommended speed it could have an adverse effect on any court defense.
5:21 On some roads you will see a sign with a curve or S on it with a posted lower speed than the regular speed(45 instead of 55 etc). You also see the signs on off ramps that have slower speeds than the highway. That is a slow down sign for the corner. Poor handling vehicles normally have to slow down for this type of corner and as a driver you should be aware that cars may be slowing down for the corner and bunching up. My complaint is with drivers who slow down for the slightest curve in the road because they are lousy drivers and can't maintain a steady speed.
I just came through there. they were using the jaws of life to free a driver of a pick up truck. looked pretty bad!
