We may soon learn more about an alleged “secret society” against President Trump as a DOJ watchdog says it has recovered five months of missing text messages between FBI agents.
DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz told senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson that thousands of messages between agents on Robert Mueller’s team have been located.
Horowitz said the texts were found using forensic tools on at least four phones seized from Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
The agents are accused of having an anti-Trump bias, and of inserting that into major investigations.
This comes after Republican senators demanded answers about the missing messages the FBI blamed on a glitch.
