(Bay City Times) A Michigan dairy farmer is to spend a couple of years in federal prison and owes a six-figure fine for hiring undocumented immigrants.
U.S. District Judge Thomas L. Ludington on Thursday, Jan. 4, sentenced Denis Burke to two years in prison, followed by two years of supervised release. Ludington did not order Burke taken into custody on Thursday, but gave him time to self-report to the U.S. Marshals Services.

ReplyDeleteYet sanctuary cities go unpunished.
ReplyDeleteIf they really get serious about hiring illegals there are going to be a lot of businesses going under and their owners to jail.Probably my son also. I asked him a few years back if any of his employees were illegal and he said they were all illegal but they had papers so they could work,he said he didn't know where they got their SS# ect but they all had them and he was positive they were phoney but now he denies he ever said that.I sure as hell don't want to see him go to jail but he has got get his stuff right and I told him that.
ReplyDeleteIf someone hires illegals, they need to face the consequences because that is just as bad as being here illegally. As far as saying they are hard workers and cheap labor , you need to check your math skills.

DeleteIf legal Americans got all these perks , we would take these jobs and work 8 days a week
DeleteThis is so, so, so, twisted! We allow entire states and cities to do the same with no ramifications, but some dairy farmer hires them and pays dearly.
