It's true. People are price gouging on these Fingerlings. I saw a lot of people verbally attacking one poster because she was selling them for $50.00 each. I hope that everyone who bought an entire lot in a store gets stuck with them and are not able to make a profit off of a child's Christmas toy.

ReplyDeleteWe used to make finger puppets out of cloth scraps, tempera paint and papier mache. They could be any character we wanted. The kids got so much more out of the experience, planning, creating, naming and playing with them.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Jim. If people are willing to pay that much than more power to the seller. And if the seller gets stuck not being able to sell then he is so;. Free market, and unless stores put a limit on how many you can buy this will always happen. Remember those stupid Cabbage Patch Kids?
ReplyDeleteI think the Sheriff's Office needs to investigate this for so many reason. Price gouging, selling without a license. Selling one is one thing, but selling multiple of the same item you need a business license. They may be stolen. If he paid the going price for them then he is scalping them for higher prices. All of these scenarios is illegal.
