Corn has taken root in the swamp that surrounds Congress. It has meant big bucks for Big Corn, but most everyone else is paying the price.
The Renewable Fuel Standard of 2005 required gasoline manufacturers to lace their products with biofuels — primarily corn-based ethanol, but also soybean-based biodiesel.
The amount they are forced to add has risen steadily, year after year. And it is scheduled to keep rising through 2022, when 36 billion gallons of renewables will be mixed into the nation’s gas supplies. After that, unelected bureaucrats at the Environmental Protection Agency get to decide.
The entire program is economically irrational. Biofuels are more expensive to make, so the program forces a pricier fuel into the economy.

Understand this: The US Government is a facist state whereby the interests of corporations are protected by the force of the government. This includes forcing people to purchase for-profit products and allowing monopolies to form in almost every single sector of the economy. We live in a very advanced, technocratic, facist dictatorship.
ReplyDeleteBiofuels create more repairs on vehicles that is why car companies are encouraging Biofuels. They have to compensate for sluggish sales from being overpriced.
ReplyDeleteBS Swamps are too wet for corn to grow. Seeds will just rot. SMH!
ReplyDeleteThis is why the swamp must be changed. Term limits are necessary.
ReplyDeleteLook at the price of pure gas and Ethenol added. Do the math and you will find you are either being paid to put Ethenol in your tank or they have put a penalty on gas.
ReplyDelete7:08 you are spot on.
Bio fuels are actually adding to pollution not helping. It cost more in energy to produce, add to existing fuel and reduces gas mileage. These are proven facts and not theories!
