Dudley-Eshbach, University System of MD support DACA
Salisbury University President Janet Dudley Eshbach released a statement September 6 regarding the decision by President Donald Trump to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which allows children of undocumented immigrants to stay in the US legally.
SU’s president “strongly supported” the Association’s statements, and urged continued support for the beneficiaries of the program, and that it was in line with Salisbury’s core mission as a university.
Dudley-Eshbach’s message to the SU campus community included a statement from the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, of which SU is a member.
The Association stated it was “profoundly disappointed with, and strongly oppose, the administration’s decision.”
The statement also said that ending DACA is “as unnecessary as it is cruel.”
There was another show of support for undocumented immigrants on September 7, when chalk messages displaying pro-immigrant and diversity messages appeared around Conway Hall.
In addition to supporting “Dreamers” under DACA, SU provides assistance to undocumented students.
According to the admissions web site, “Salisbury University welcomes applications from undocumented students as part of its multicultural and inclusive academic environment.”
The admissions office also provides links and information for a number of scholarships available to students who have received delayed action status.
SU has shown a history of support for undocumented students.

Our higher education system encouraging illegal activities and ignoring the rule of law. Isn't that special!
ReplyDeleteThat's because she is an illegal alien from Mexico. She shouldn't speak on behalf of the University on such political issues like that.
ReplyDeleteEvery Board of Directors members at the University of Maryland System needs to be terminated.
she supports drunk drivers too! liberal pos living off us the taxpayers!
ReplyDelete"SU has shown a history of support for undocumented students."
ReplyDeleteYes, all three of them.
SU and especially Dudley-Eshbach is one of the most liberal universities in this country. They endorse practically every policy on illegals out there. Does anyone at SU know anything about the rule of law, and the fact that we allow illegal immigrants (lawbreakers) to feed off of the tax payers. SU continues to display its liberal philosophy. Here we have supposedly educated people who can't understand the rule of law.
ReplyDeleteAs usual out of her liberal mouth - blah, blah, blah
ReplyDeleteThat is why I stopped contributing to the university. The ideals are way out of line. If they are supporting undocumented persons then ICE has a new place to hang out . Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteDont they call that aiding and abiding? How do you spell indictment?
ReplyDeleteBy supporting violations of law should be enough to cut all tax dollars from SU and all other State Colleges / Universities and Community Colleges that except tax dollars. This should be done ASAP not 5 years later. Dudley-Eshbach has destroyed the quality of education, student security and the respect citizens had for SU. Su use to be the 'Pride of Salisbury and the 10+yrs she has been at SU There has been a decline of Alumni donating to their foundation because of her failed leadership. The Foundation assist in bringing illegals and foreign students to SU by grants etc.
ReplyDeleteWe all know how this pig feels about Mexicans. It was not that long ago that she had some very un-DACA friendly things to say about certain Mexican tour guides interacting with her daughter and how she was going to have to physically assault them.
ReplyDeleteShe is a liberal pig feeding at the trough. In the trough is your sweet, blood and hard earned tax money.
DACA discriminates against Americans ,SU seems to be anti American but they want our taxes.
ReplyDeleteIf only one thing is said about President Trump in the history books, it will be how he brought the enemies of we the people out in the open.
ReplyDeleteNow we know who they are.
Any Alumni of this university should be ashamed by actions of this woman Dudley-Eshbach. Next, cut off their funding and let them fund themselves. They wouldnt last a week without somebody else's money. Maybe they can ask "Dreamers" for donations and see what they get - maybe few pesos.
ReplyDeleteMany non patriots exposed by this election.
ReplyDelete...another scratched of the list!
ReplyDeleteI'm an SU graduate, no longer part of the Alumni Association, and I've been disappointed with much of the university's stance on many social/political statements and actions, for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteHey college graduates/teachers at SU. Please to ask you to define illegal.
ReplyDeleteWe'll wait for your answer, thanks!
when the SU NPR stations have their next beg-a-thon- please call in to complain about SU and their liberal programming. It will tie up the phone lines so other people cant give. If Trump wont defund them, we will.
ReplyDeleteLike some of you, I abandoned all participation in anything to do with SU, especially the annual fund drive. I could see it coming when they hired her, and she did not take long to drive me away. I got a good education there (class of '79) but sent my daughter elsewhere for hers.
ReplyDeleteLiberals are clueless. period! this university is beyond liberal.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteThe illegals enrolled get tuition paid in one form or the other so they are walking, talking cash flow to SU. It takes a lot of coin to support her salary, housing and allowances in order to keep her in the style she's become accustomed to!
Is SHE paying the tuition? And how does she justify taking a slot from an American citizen and giving it to someone who, by definition, is a criminal who surely doesn't have 20 grand in his back pocket.
ReplyDeleteIt's wrong on so many levels I wonder how she got this far in life.
By conspiring to commit these crimes, she is, to me, a federal felony waiting for handcuffs.
Conspiracy, in itself, has put thousands of "we, the people" in prison. Not jail. Prison.
Aahhhh....okay....
Two Sets of Laws.
Got it.
She gets to yank down a sweet salary and goes to the islands for fun.
YOU get the prison term.
Keep cheering.
"SU has shown a history of support for undocumented students."
ReplyDeleteSince when? I mean, when did they start doing that?
As long as SU promotes breaking federal laws & Eshbach's bad leadership, they won't be getting any money from this alum. No way in hell.
ReplyDeleteMe either.....when they call me, I tell them to take the funds out of SU Presidents free Food fund.... she could loose 100 lbs...
