No thanks , got rid of my birds last month and I use Charmin tissue now.
ReplyDeleteooooooh, how do i live without it? what a joke of a rag!
ReplyDeletelmao, and they try to get people to pay to read it online. A few free articles then they want you to pay to continue? lol yeah right
ReplyDeleteJust canceled my subscription after they sent me an invoice with a 50% increase in my monthly rate. Called and cancelled. When asked why I was canceling, I told the call center clerk that it just isn't worth the newer price, and that I actually have found it to be worth less, not more, as the editorial staff does not reflect the views of me or my neighbors here on the shore. She said no problem, she would go ahead and process my cancellation, as if its something she does all day long, day in, day out. There was no attempt to talk me into keeping my subscription. Those USA Today people have no idea how to run a local publication, only liberal big city ones. They should stay out of our market. Hit them where it hurts. Make it unprofitable for them, and they will sell it to someone that represents the views of the community that it serves.
ReplyDeleteYea, but only if you sign up using their EZ-Pay Plan. .Where they get paid every month from your credit card. Try to get that cancelled.............I'm out and plan to stay that way.....I found out I can get along without it.
ReplyDeleteFor the amount of advertising in that paper it should be free. Check that ....they should pay us to read it. The Sunday paper by actual weight is 75% advertising 20% news and 5% op eds. One Sunday I was bored and cut the paper up and weighed it. Why should I be paying to buy some ones advertising. Just doesn't make sense.
ReplyDeleteI might read it if it wasn't for that Section B, USA Today crap.
ReplyDeleteObits and local sports might be the only reason to open it.
No, don't tell me more.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta wonder why stores would put coupons in the "Big Sunday Edition" that nobody buys.
ReplyDeleteScorchy Tawes once told me he loved to go through the Times and pick out all the misspellings and grammatical errors. He said it was better than the crossword.
