She was in a "hole" that was 3-4 feet deep. OC police report the death "appears" to be "accidental." Really? Sounds more like OC is trying to downplay a murder on the beach to avoid the Aruba-like bad publicity that ruined tourism for the Island. Now they have to really pull some strings to get the coroner at Baltimore to go along with their deception. A beach sweeper would have collected her, not buried her in a hole. Foul play should definitely be considered. But OC officials say accidental, and are now scrambling to get someone, anyone, to back them up. How in the heck does someone die and get buried on the beach accidentally???? Reminds me of the days, long ago in the south, where blacks were found hanging from trees, with their hands tied behind their backs, and local authorities ruling the deaths a suicide.
The surf has been extremely heavy for several days. I don't know how much time elapsed between her parents last seeing her and her body being found, but she may have been swimming and drowned.A heavy surf can easily bury anything on the shoreline. I hope and pray for the family's comfort.
ReplyDeleteMaybe friends buried her as a joke and left her thinking it would be funny to come back in the morning and maybe she drowned when the tide came in.
ReplyDeleteShe was found only a few hours after she was missing. Even heavy surf would not cover her up in that time. She was not found in the surf. She was found up on the beach.
ReplyDeleteGuess you've never been to the beach. If you lay in the sand you can be buried in a matter of minutes. Stand at the Shoreline and you'll be to your Calf muscles in less than a minute.
DeleteAnd beaches have these things called tides.
Delete2:03 Who would play a joke on a friend by burying them in a 3' to 4' hole? That would be called murder.
ReplyDeleteHer family last saw her at 2am. Her body was discovered at 630am so just a matter of a few hours.
ReplyDelete3' to 4' deep does not make any sense. That looks like someone for some reason was trying to conceal her body. I'm wondering if she wasn't passed out or sleeping on the beach and was run over by a city employee who then panicked and buried her.
ReplyDeleteThe OC government sounds a bit dodgy with this accidental statement especially when it hasn't been long enough for anyone to do an autopsy. Who knows what happened even with an autopsy unless there's blunt force trauma in an area that can't be self-inflicted. Tourist seasons always has the OC scrambling to cover up stuff. Remember that Northern VA couple that was cut up by that crazy Marine and his girlfriend? City Confidential came in and did a segment, probably the only reason anyone even knows about what happened there.
ReplyDeleteUmm no that was in the news cycle for weeks when it happened
DeleteThe strange thing is the hole. If it was murder who would take the time to dig a 3-4 foot hole and bury a body in front of so many potential witnesses? Even at that time of night/morning there are still a lot of people awake in downtown oc in peak season.
ReplyDeleteThe accidental determination most likely came from the medical examiner not the police.
ReplyDeleteFriends maybe buried her & something ran her over??
ReplyDeleteI just dont see who would have the guts to murder someone on the beach then take the time to bury them
ReplyDeleteThe Clintons?
DeletePut away your internet degree's and let the professionals deal with it
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone dug the hole, as many people do on the beach, and she fell in.
ReplyDeleteThe surf would not bury someone that quickly.
Very sad.
Whatever happened, be nice with your comments - there is a family grieving. Condolences to her family.
ReplyDeleteA few years back in front of everyone a young child died in a sink hole. It happens quite regularly on ocean city, but usually people are present. It's caused by people digging large holes, them getting covered over and then the air pocket giving way. I haven't studied the stats but there are many adult deaths from this in the United States every year. At night, in the dark, with a lot of inebriated people, she could sink and literally no one notice or see. This possibly isn't the traditional conspiracy and cover up that the local media and government are involved in daily.
ReplyDeleteCould u provide any evidence of this child killing OC sinkhole ?
DeleteI agree..... BAN DA SAND..... no more sand.......
DeleteKind of like Hillary's one time personal lawyer Vince Foster that committed suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head with a non functioning gun in fort marcy park just when the Clinton whitewater corruption investigation was bearing fruit.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am in no way a forensic investigator, it is possible that she met someone at the bar where she went (another news source said she had a bracelet on her wrist to let servers know she was old enough to drink) and he tried to possibly rape her, ended up killing her, then buried her. Maybe I'm watching too much SVU - Special Victims. So, to stay safe, there are things you should not do. Pick up strangers in bars, go swimming in the ocean after guards go off duty, go swimming drunk, and leave your brain at home when you are on vacation. I feel for the family.
ReplyDeleteI was a cop for many years and this lack of crime reporting or a false narrative was going on in all sexual assaults and violent crimes back in the 80's and continues until this day!
ReplyDeleteShe has a wife 5:37. The story is already on internet. They dont know if her wife was also in town.
ReplyDeleteShe wasn't found near the water so no way the surf covered her body with the sand.
ReplyDeleteI do not know but is it possible that the machinery they use to clean the beach ran over her? Maybe she was passed out on the beach?...anything is possible
ReplyDeleteThe "appears to be accidental" comment was put out by the OC Public Communication Officer. It is the official comment from the town government OC, concerning this investigation, before there is even an autopsy. They are deliberately putting out mis-information to avoid any loss of revenue.
ReplyDeleteThe medical examiners office will be able to tell what the truth really is.
