Incident: Wanted Subject
Date of Incident: 26 July 2017
Location: 800 block of E. East Street, Delmar, MD
Suspect: Christopher Eugene Simmons, 26, Delmar, MD
Narrative: On 26 July 2017 at 9:20 AM, a deputy took Christopher Simmons into custody in the 800 block of E. East Street in Delmar on an outstanding District Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Simmons violated the terms of his probation in a Forgery and Theft case.
Simmons was processed at the Central Booking Unit and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Simmons in the Detention Center in lieu of $20,000.00 bond.
Charges: Violation of Probation
Incident: Possession of Cocaine
Date of Incident: 26 July 2017
Location: 7000 block of Main Street, Willards, MD
Suspect: Tasia R. Jones, 25, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 26 July 2017 at 3:39 PM, a deputy made contact with a vehicle in the 7000 block of Main Street in Willards whose occupants were the subject of an investigation the deputy was conducting. During the encounter the deputy observed what was recognized as a CDS Smoking device in plain view. Further search of the vehicle’s owner, Tasia Jones, revealed a baggie with cocaine in it inside Jones’ wallet.
The deputy placed Jones under arrest and transported her to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Jones on Personal Recognizance.
Charges: Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 27 July 2017
Location: 300 block of Brookview Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Chandrae Cornelia Rivers, 19, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 27 July 2017 at 1:16 PM, a deputy responded to a residence in the 300 block of Brookview Drive in Salisbury for a reported assault. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that a subject identified as Chandrae Rivers, drove recklessly into the front yard of this location forcing the individuals standing there to jump out of the way as River’s vehicle slid to a stop in a flower garden, while Rivers was yelling out the window that she wanted to kill a woman there. The deputy learned that Rivers had come to this location to confront another female over a male subject. One of the individuals in the front yard was not able to jump out of the way in time and was struck by Rivers’ vehicle. After making additional threatening statements, Rivers drove away.
Rivers returned to the scene while the deputy was present, but quickly drive away following the deputy’s indication for her to stop. The deputy then pursued Rivers on several adjacent streets before she pulled into a driveway and made an unsuccessful attempt to elude the deputy on foot.
Rivers told the deputy that she didn’t have a license and that she was scared which along with the three outstanding failure to appear bench warrants for her arrest was the reason she tried to flee.
The deputy placed Rivers under arrest and transported her to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Rivers in the Detention Center without bond.
Charges: Attempted Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Driving Without a License, Reckless Driving, Negligent Driving, Attempt to Flee and Elude, Failure to Remain at the Scene of an Accident
Incident: Possession of Cocaine
Date of Incident: 27 July 2017
Location: Eastern Shore Drive at Vine Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Quinton Marcellous Milbourne, 24, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 27 July 2017 at 9:03 PM at 9:03 PM a deputy stopped a vehicle after observing that it appeared the operator had an obstructed view through his windshield. During the encounter, the deputy detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the passenger, Quinton Milbourne. Upon Milbourne exiting the vehicle, the deputy observed a baggie that would be recovered that held what was identified as marijuana. Further search of Milbourne revealed additional separately wrapped baggies with marijuana and a set of digital scales. Additionally, the deputy located a baggie of what would be identified as cocaine in Milbourne’s possession.
The deputy placed Milbourne under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Milbourne on $10,000.00 unsecured bond.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana greater than 10 gm , Possession of Cocaine
