So Is Congress’ Effort To Repeal Obamacare Actually Dead For Real, Or What?

It’s been a heck of a week in D.C. On Tuesday afternoon, the Senate held a high-drama, high-stakes vote to move on a proposal to repeal and/or replace the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). That kicked off a frankly bonkers week of politics and politicking, with debate — and Senators’ support — all over the map. In the wee small hours of Friday morning, that effort finally shambled to a halt, fatally collapsing on itself. But is this actually the end of Congressional efforts to undo the ACA?

  1. President Trump has to cut the government funding of Obammy Care...stop threatening and do it! When it dies let Congress scramble to then get something done! Without the American Zero John McCain!

  2. Ditch the subsidies to Congressional workers, make the civil servants use Obamacare, and cut the insurance company subsidies. They system will implode immediately and the congressional workers and civil servants will revolt until it is fixed!

  3. I agree with 5:42. Make the healthcare the same for citizens and congress and action will be immediate.

  4. These so called republicans need to get off thier a** and do some good while they can, time is running out.And allowing McCain to vote was a travesty. This guy need to focus on his recovery and stop tanking the votes. Trump needs a Sit Down with them and tell them these clown actions need to stop or no ones getting re elected next election! We need to get rid of obamacare and get some logical solution going.
