  7. I hope she is joined by Ben Layton in paradise, never to suffer again, never to be sick again. This story - with Amy's love and dedication and a complete system of caregivers who never gave up give us all inspiration. I hope when I pass it is with such dignity and love. RIP sweet girl. - the Kilbirnie Kid

It's the sad realization of it, but we can only hope and pray that your precious memories and moments will guide you through it. So many people are better for seeing brookes fight, courage and strong will. Brooke can now be at peace and I'm sure she wants the same for you! Rest easy Brooke!!

  20. And her suffering is over. She suffered far too long. Prayers have been answered. May she now rest in peace, no more pain, no more suffering, no more doctors and hospitals. She was a brave little girl, but the odds were against her from the beginning. It is not a normal part of life for one to have to bury their child. It is un-natural. My prayers are now with her family to find solace and comfort in their Faith, and to know that their daughter is no longer suffering. It is a great loss that no parent should have to endure.

  33. I met Brooke shortly after her birth as a newborn. She was a miracle baby. Brooke's spirit will be felt for many years into the future. She was one small giant, making a huge positive difference in a world that is not always kind or considerate of hurting people. Brooke, even though I didn't know you as you grew up, I love you to your inner core, & I hope to see you in heaven some sweet day!

  34. To Amy, Jean, Joanne, Bruce, Scott, Brian, Cassidy, Chelsea, & other relatives: Brooke's spirit is like a lighthouse in an endless sea of cancer. Her bravery pioneered through many tough & torrential storms, but her spirit is still a beacon for all others who are still battling the storm. I pray that God eases your pain & grief in only a way that the Lord can. I pray comfort, peace, & love to all. May God bless you in ways that overwhelm you, ways that can only come from the Lord's love, hope, & spirit. There is a perfect place, it's where Brooke is now... Heaven, where there is a huge celebration today! Welcome to Heaven, Sweet Brooke, Welcome!

  37. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Brooke is now with Jesus, with her new body, which is free from pain, free from disease. I pray that you would be with her family Lord, touch them, prop them up in their time of suffering. And to the family, I know this is tough, but now your baby girl is no longer suffering. She is with Jesus. Praise God.
