Breaking News: Amazon will buy Whole Foods for $13.7 billion, the latest move by the online giant to push into food retail
Amazon said on Friday that it had agreed to buy the organic supermarket chain Whole Foods for $13.7 billion, in the online retailer’s latest push into the grocery business.
1:16 PM and walmart? Amazon - you can shop anywhere so it is not a monopoly Google - use duckduckgo Facebook - there are loads of other social media sites
Jeff Bezos is trying to corner markets because other companies like Jet are beginning to gain steam against him. They are gaining customers because of his nefarious use of the Washington Post and the new policy where Amazon started charging sales tax in every state not just the ones who have court ordered the company to charge. Jet doesn't charge taxes unless order to, but Bezos does it yet doesn't have to turn over that money legally to the states. He's a shifty guy. Dirty business deals. He's a blight on humanity but then again, most CEOs these days are to those who aren't liberal.
Time to break up Amazon, Google and Facebook just like they did Ma Bell
