Scott Pelley reportedly out of 'CBS Evening News'

Scott Pelley is out at “CBS Evening News,” Page Six has exclusively learned.

Sources tell us that ‘Poison Pelley’s’ office was being cleared out on Tuesday while the anchor was away on an assignment for the network’s news magazine “60 Minutes.”

We’re told that he’s being shifted permanently to “60 Minutes.”

Insiders tell us that CBS News president David Rhodes “is making [Pelley] move to ‘60 Minutes,’ ” and that the pair “don’t get on.”

  1. Glad to see him go. Stopped watching CBS news after the election night coverage and his comments about "non college educated white males" Constant negative reporting of Trump and liberal reporting in general. I'm sure ratings had something to do with this as well. I've quit watching the evening news at 6:30. The media has become the enemy of the people and can no longer be trusted to tell the truth.

  5. I always thought that news commentators were like the press they were supposed to be fair and not biasted this jerk I quit watching during the election. He actually thought his opinion mattered. Move him totally out of the network would be best.

  6. Actually I have come to watch CBS, NBC, ABC, and CNN a tiny bit more because of Election Night. Since 9/11 FOX has been my news source. I did not bother switching channels. Election night I decided to see how other news agencies were handling Hillary losing. Let me tell you, I saw a bunch of fools doing some fine hysterical entertaining. The moaning non believing sensation and crying was amazing. Now I am hooked. When big news items pop up on FOX, I just have to scroll the channels for a few minutes to see what their take is. Those news stations have yet to fail me, in getting a few good laughs. I hope for their sake of staying in business they can soon see that the President is Donald Trump and report NEWS, instead of making stuff up or misquoting facts.

  7. He made his feelings known on election night. His comments are unforgivable. I stopped watching from that night on.
Arrogant jerk! He represents what is wrong with the media in general. They are not our friends, but the enemy of the people. They are corporate and government controlled. That is why all the networks open each night with the same news stories and the same propaganda fed to us by both the corporations and the government.
Also fed up with the drug commercials. Enough is enough. I have better things to do with my time. I look to Sbynews and the Drudge Report for national news. They made their true feelings known on election night. I made mine not to watch them or their sponsors. I'm sure because they have lost viewers, they are also loosing money, but we all know they won't admit this!
