WSJ: Fox News Will Cut Ties With Bill O'Reilly

Fox News Channel is poised to end the 21-year tenure of Bill O'Reilly on the news cabler amid a cascade of sexual harassment allegations.

O'Reilly's exit from the network he has been with almost since its inception is expected to be official later this week. The Murdoch clan that controls Fox News had originally backed its top-rated host, but the drumbeat of allegations of harassment from multiple women during the past three weeks has proven untenable for parent company 21st Century Fox.

  5. This is real and sad since the man we watched for 1 hour when the red light was on - is alleged to NOT be the same man when the red light is off!

Plus he has monetarily "settled" other allegations from his past.

    Sad...indeed.

  6. So for all the bitching and complaining about ties to Russia, he gets fired for an accusation!
We are just like "Mother Russia", where you are guilty till proven innocent!

  8. 4:32 because he settled doesn't mean he is guilty of anything it only means his insurance company pressured him to settle rather than get into a long drawn out expensive legal court battle. The radical left took dead aim at him and it looks like they have succeded and there are a whole lot more to come. 4:32 you are right Hannity is next.

  10. Of course Liberals are behind this. They are going to destroy anybody that is conservative and getting away with it. Fox will be just as liberal as the other networks.

  11. Thank god he is finally gone. He is a relic of the past! Anyone who has dennis miller as a guest on a regular basis is not in touch with reality. That guy sucks and has since he started. So long bill. So much for those lectures on cosby and your no spin zone. Who's the pinhead now? Thank god fox is putting tucker in his place. He will have higher ratings and bill won't be missed at all. Wonder what miller will do now to get his stupid butt on tv.... maybe take over andy rooneys spot on 60 minutes.

  12. You Republicans will make excuses for anything. If he wasn't guilty why pay up? Countersue for legal fees and defamation of character if he's innocent
