DeleteIf police knew before hand someone would be shot in a certain place at a certain time the law would be there - not waiting for the gun to go off - but to grab the culprit before he shot.
DeleteHere is a question - How many cops would it take to stand in front of each home and business in Salisbury waiting for a crime to happen. That sounds like what you all think a policeman should do. Get real and use your brain. Patrolling areas will deter crime a bit. But in reality LEO is called after the fact. It burns me to the core how you guys get on this blog shooting down cops and telling them how to do a job you have not a clue on how. Perhaps you could better serve your community by by being diligent of your area, instead of expecting LEO to ALWAYS be in the right place at the right time.

Maryland State Police arrested two men in connection with the murder of James Edward Joyce in Wicomico County. The accused are identified as Keone Davis, 18, and Da’Quawn Waters, 18, both of Salisbury. ....... arrest of the two men on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the 500 block of Emory Court in Salisbury. Both men were wanted on outstanding arrest warrants for gun violations.
When is the clueless mayor and police chef going to be investigated about downgrading calls they are calling this shooting a "ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM" THIS IS A S H O O T I N G NOT A "ASSAULT".

The problem is both the judges and the cops. The judges are truly ignorant of what these gang bangers do and only look at what is in front of them. The cops have stopped caring because arresting them solves nothing. Why go after someone on a warrant when he will just be free in an hour.

About the time we make the call and the cops show up 20 minutes later, they are gone. What would you like us to do about it? We know most of the houses that are drug houses. What would you like us to do about it? We are awaken by drive by shootings and gun fire. The cops lie on the scanner and say it is fireworks. What would you like us to do about it?

You should stick to hanging out at DD and avoiding doing anything more than writing speeding tickets to honest working folks try make a living.

Emory Court used to be nice apartments,one of the local ones with a swimming pool.Twenty years later,its a shithole where two unsolved murders were committed that have never been solved.Typical Salisbury.When people can afford to escape into the county,more housing becomes low rent districts.As far as the police go,they are worthless.I offered up my home for them to surveillance because of all the street drug sales in the Doverdale area,they were not interested.As far as I am concerned,they are worse than the thugs.
