As I scan the Internet this morning, it's AMAZING how the media on the western shore are all up in arms about the Maryland Senate overriding Hogan's veto on the Sunshine Bill.
Funny how they refused to educate the public about it beforehand, (especially WBOC, WMDT & the DT's) but now AFTER the override they want to ACT like this is crazy.
Liberal media needs to be shut down. Remember the slots bill, the money was FOR THE CHILDREN? We have been ramrodded with so much BS from our legislators, they have simply gone too far.
Senator Mathias can act as if this is no big deal but let me assure you of one thing. I don't care how much money he has backing him, I have the audience to shut him down this upcoming election, (should we have a decent republican candidate) and that is exactly what I will do. As for Sharee Sample Hughes, she has always been a fly under the radar radical who will clearly throw the voters in her district under the bus to pad her campaign funds from lobbyists.
DRAIN THE MARYLAND SWAMP!
I guess we have no choice and surely no voice thanks for letting us know Joe. I guess there is nothing we can do about it but vote the bastards out next election?
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Joe!
ReplyDeleteMathias should not have been elected the last time. Mike McDermot (sp) would have fought for the shore.
ReplyDeleteThank you Joe I have felt for a long time Mathias had conservative voters on the eastern shore BS'ed but this confirms it. I am going to work as hard as I can to get rid of that no good lying scumbag.
ReplyDeletekeep up the good work, Joe!
ReplyDeleteAmen, Joe. Can't help but wonder it you would consider running, and if not you, who would you suggest?
ReplyDeleteThis will devastate the Eastern Shore's economy while degrading our environment because this area where this garbage is going to be placed!!!
ReplyDeleteProperty values will plummet, like they have in Somerset County, where 1100 acres of solar has been approved along with Crisfield's wind turbine, and 250 tons of manure per day in Westover. Generating energy from this stuff makes no sense because it costs over 3 times what we pay for electric sources we already have and it devalues farming. Along with this will be lots more transmission.
Senator Mathis is supporting wind turbines off the coast of OC which kills porpoises and whales.
No one elected in Maryland that wants to drain the swamp.
ReplyDeleteKeep beating the drum, Joe. All of the counties in which Jim Mathias is the representative, all voted unanimously for Hogan and Trump. So, why does Jim keep drinking the Annapolis liberal koolaid?
ReplyDeleteMaryland maps look similar to the national maps- very red except for 2 populous areas. We CAN take our country and state back if we stay fired up?
I don't get he got praise a couple months ago about the Civic Center, now he being attacked? Even if he voted no the bill would of still passed. FYI Jim Mathis District is gerrymandered; Most of the Republicans were thrown in District 37. He'll still win.
ReplyDeleteThe Eastern Shore lacks any viable, credible news sources when it comes to print news or television news shows. It's a shame that such a large area containing three states has such a lacking in any media that feels responsible to inform citizens on relevant issues but instead, talks silliness trying to be serious. Instead of Pets on the Mall adoptions, why not take that 30 seconds to fill people in on the really important issues like legislation that's design to bankrupt the middle class.
ReplyDeleteI am a 80 year old male and for the first time in my life i plan on being involved when Mathis is up for election next time. This man irritates me more than i can explain. I plan to talk to as many people as i can and encourage many of you to do the same to help get rid of this man.
ReplyDeleteRun Forrest run!
ReplyDeleteMaryland is a marsh, full of rodents and other vermin, eradication is the answer. We just need voters with intelligence and gonads
ReplyDeleteOn many occasions I feel as though Mathias is insane. He must know and realize that his vote to oveeride Hogan's veto is political suicide.
