ReplyDeleteWith all the money SU gets from the State, they're asking for donated cameras?
ReplyDeletewhat a joke
ReplyDeleteYou can easily pick up a used 35mm camera at most pawn shops for $35 to $50.
ReplyDeleteThe next advancement in camera technology is going far beyond anything film was ever capable of. New cameras will even allow you to focus AFTER the shot. To do this is like asking for abacus donations for their computer science class.
ReplyDeleteSU has plenty of money they are buying up Salisbury rapidly.
ReplyDeleteWith the University having all these spiffy new buildings and buying up Court Plaza and Temple Hills Motel, why do they need to pander for cameras for the Art Department? Why doesn't Jeanne Anderton go to Janet Eschbach and ask for this money instead of pimping to the public? Maybe if Anderton had been decent to photography alumni they would be happy to help but she's not very nice to many of the photography students who earned their degrees under her.
ReplyDeleteI'm an alumni of Anderton's and 952 is absolutely right. I've seen her out many times and she just ignores me even though I was in every class she taught. I wouldn't give any of my cameras to them just on principle alone.
