Kellyanne Conway and NBC’s Chuck Todd got into an intense and dramatic spat that could lead to a rethinking of their ‘relationship’. Chuck Todd claimed that Sean Spencer was lying when he said Trump’s crowds were bigger than Obama’s at the inauguration.
“Let me begin with this question, the presidency is about choices. So I’m curious why President Trump chose yesterday to send out his press secretary to essentially litigate a provable falsehood when it comes to a small and petty thing like inaugural crowd size. I guess my question to you is why do that?” asked Chuck Todd.
“I’m about things that are quantifiable and important. I don’t think that– I don’t think ultimately presidents are judged by crowd sizes at their inauguration. I think they’re judged by their accomplishments,” explained Kellyanne.
Chuck Todd kept pushing, getting angrier and angrier as he went until Kellyanne finally had enough. “Chuck, I mean, if we’re going to keep referring to our press secretary in those types of terms I think that we’re going to have to rethink our relationship here. I want to have a great open relationship with our press. But look what happened the day before talking about falsehoods,” said Kellyanne.
“We allowed the press– the press to come into the Oval Office and witness President Trump signing executive orders. And of course, you know, the Senate had just confirmed General Mattis and General Kelly to their two posts. And we allowed the press in. And what happens almost immediately? A falsehood is told about removing the bust of Martin Luther King Junior from the Oval Office. No, that’s just flat out false,” said Kellyanne. Bam! Check out the full interview below.

who cares about the crowd size, both sides should move on from this
ReplyDeleteHow about the press concentrating on what's right for a change, the positive things, instead of burrowing to find things that could possibly be wrong, and then fabricating them when they come up short?
ReplyDeleteIt is only important because the left is trying to use anything possible to discredit Trump. They are losing!!
ReplyDeleteno 12:15, they aren't losing.
ReplyDeleteThey ALREADY lost!

try as you must in another 3 years and 10 or so months.
Until then, lets try and play nice for a REAL CHA CHA CHANGE!!!
I love her. She's a real ballbuster! I've never met a woman so quick witted and unfazed in the heat of the battle. I would never want to get into an argument with her!
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't Cher and Madonna mention her at the march? Right now, she's one of the most accomplished political figures in America. If it wasn't for her, the Clinton's would be back in the White House. Let that sink in...Yeah, we should be celebrating Kelly-Ann Conway.
I wanted to watch this interview (that turned into an attack) with Kellyanne Conway, because I think she is a very smart, articulate, accomplished woman. Chuck Todd was a complete @ss. She nailed him when she commented that his job was to report news and not be a commentator. That is the problem. Journalist now let their personal biases color all they do. That is why the main stream media is in a free fall. I understood exactly what she meant by the term "alternative facts". The MSM keeps reporting and laughing about this terminology, however - they are the MASTERS of twisting facts to suit their narrative. Chuck Todd needs to be blackballed - end of story.

ReplyDeleteDoes his obamacare cover public humiliation?
90% of all media is owned by only 6 corporations. Never forget that. How easy is it for them to script news reports, like we have already witnessed in the recent past?
ReplyDeleteHow easy would it be for them to push a false narrative and have OTHER news outlets back them up and giving impressions of its' truthfulness?
Ever wonder why MSM always attack other news outlets? Alternative news outlets? Web-based outlets? Blogs? Do you ever wonder if it's to stay in control of the narrative? Not let anyone have an independent thought?
