Two Men, One Woman Stabbed Last Night In Downtown Salisbury 1--28-17
It's been reported three people were stabbed last night around 2 AM on the Downtown Plaza in Salisbury. All three victims went to PRMC for non life threatening injuries.
This place is a nuisance. Obviously, they ate not able to manage their liquor license. Something needs to be done. This kind of stuff happens all of the time at this location. What would have not been reported if the police had not stumbled upon the disturbance.
Did this happen inside the business or out side. A business is there for the money to be profitable. these clients spend lots of money. their actions ARE THEIR actions not the business's. they have security and bouncers if they are out side of the business then it is not the business's concern
The police took $3800 from one of the guys who was stabbed. They weren't fighting over a girl. But crime is down, right? We should all be glad about that.
Hey guys- Jeremy Norton here, owner of Roadie Joes. I feel its necessary to address this situation as both a concerned citizen and business owner. To be clear this incident DID NOT happen at roadie joes or even in the parking lot that is closest to Roadie Joes. The parking lot in question is a very dimly lit, blighted piece of property that has been a constant concern for safety at night for quite some time. I have met with city officials previously in reference to this problem and the short term solution that we came up with was to make this a heavier patrolled area at nights(thus the reason a patrol car was just driving by). Unfortunately this area is privately owned and therefore the city cannot illuminate or fence it properly. In almost 4 years of business at this location we have never had an incident this extreme happen so close to home. I am very confident in the ability of our police department and do not feel in any way unsafe when I am in downtown Salisbury. Its very unfortunate that this happened and we pray that all individuals involved are doing well. For anyone that feels the need to talk to me personally- I can be reached at 443-944-9156 Thanks and God Bless- Roadie
I know from Personal experiences that Roadies does a excellent job. I have watched them cut off customers who have had to much to drink and escort problems off there property. There staff is well trained in handling situations. The people on here talking trash need to get a life
I feel as a DT business owner that our streets downtown are well patrolled and very safe. The city police have ramped up coverage and responded efficiently and quickly to every issue. Roadie and his staff do a fantastic job protecting their customers inside and outside. The city is revitalizing our city scape and that will include new lighting and I am sure by the time the reach that side of Main Street they will have a solution for the Parker Place corridor. Hear-say is a common issue in our city and opinions are shared with little thought! This isn't the same city as 30 years ago, we have to accept that idea and move past whats not being done and focus more on whats happening. Randy Taylor you sir are a chode, google that word while your investigating your baseless comments!
Time for the crime cover ups i find your comment BS i never see cops downtown at 12 1 2 3 am i live here and the trash fights that xome out of RJ is rediculous.
Salisbury Maryland has become a sewage pond of crime and apathy. It has only gotten worse in the last 3 years. Moved away from the city and don't regret it.
the gilkersons can have all of downtown for all I care, I would never go there. but I'm sure everything will be better when parking lots become section 8 housing

ReplyDeleteAs per the police report posted on WBOC the fight did not occur on the license premise.
ReplyDeleteSureeeeee.
DeleteAnother source is telling me it happened in the breezeway and parking lot at Parker Place. Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI should add, there's no lighting there. This is the same location where a bunch of Christmas Tress were stolen last month.
