Republicans have been promising to repeal and replace Obamacare since the day it was signed. After years and years of being unable to act, Republicans now have the majority of both House and Senate, as well as the White House.
President-elect Trump has made it very clear that he plans to destroy Obamacare without any second thoughts and I gotta say I like that.
Mike Pence had a meeting with House GOP lawmakers Wednesday morning where he vowed that he and President-elect Trump would do everything in their power to repeal and replace the Obamacare law that has forced so many people out of perfectlygood healthcare plans.
“The first order of business is to repeal and replace Obamacare, and that was our message today and it will be our message on Capitol Hill, and it needs to be done,” Pence told reporters. “Not just as a promise kept, but because in the course of this election, the American people have a choice.”

ReplyDeleteObamacare was never expected to succeed (by design).. the whole plan has been:
Obamacare collapses (very painfully).. America wails..
Dems propose single-payer system to 'rescue' America..
12:42 Exactly right!
ReplyDeleteWith "Single Payer" you are at the mercy of the government and a political bureaucrat for you healthcare
Any one of these ponzi schemes will put you at their mercy. Like any other mandated government program it will be screwd!
ReplyDeleteTell that to everyone with pre-existing conditions that will now be denied healthcare
ReplyDelete"Tell that to everyone with pre-existing conditions that will now be denied healthcare"
ReplyDeleteSays who, troll?
No plan says that. Pre-existing conditions do not disqualify and insurance can be sold across state lines.. 2 of the main points of any plan that will replace the Obamacare fraud.

ReplyDeleteFool! No one will be denied healthcare. Just those of you with pre-existing condition won't be able to stick someone else with the bill.

why do fools like you have to call people fools? foolish is as foolish does Forest
I have an idea. People pay independent insurance companies from any state for policies of their choice and aee allowed HSA's and the Government and Big Pharma are not in charge. Government leaves the picture, and Big Pharms becomes a competitive marketplace.
ReplyDeleteAlot of companies who offered insurance to their employees stopped when Obamacare came in. Those companies saved their part and I am sure will not give it back. Obamacare needs revamping but millions of people will not be able to afford private plans. The ones with preexisting conditions have a cap though Obamacare which will go away and then they are screwed. Our health costs will go up cause these people will still have to have treatment and we will pay when they go to the er and are unable to pay. No one in America should not have healthcare. Free clinics or clinics with sliding scales should be established for those who can't afford. They could be used as training sites for new or doctors in school to learn from seasoned doctors one on one. Nurses and office staff also. I interned at University of md hospital in baltimore and it was operating under this model. I learned a lot that I continue to use today.
