ReplyDelete7:29 PM speaking of Dan, the weatherman, why does he constantly tell us what the weather was this morning when the weather is on at 6:00 P.M.? If I'm watching the weather at 6 or 7 P.M., I don't care about what the weather WAS in the morning, I want to know what it will be tonight and in the morning the next day! He is the most irksome weather forecaster I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteA county worker (MKA) was dismissed from his position at the civic center. Although he shouldn't have been doing what he was doing, all seemed to be fine until a couple comments showed up on this blog. That was when his supervisors jumped in to try to save face. They knew what he was doing and were ok with it. Culver needs to investigate further.

ReplyDeleteI don't know about that intersection but some of the roads are horrible at night in and around Salisbury. You can hardly see the lines on the road and if it is raining forget it! The worse is from the State police barracks heading towards Delmar. No wonder there are so many accidents. The lights in Salisbury seem to be timed all wrong. They seem to hinder the flow of traffic rather than help it. They have street lights where there shouldn't be one and no street light at some roads that should be lit up. Morris Leonard Road has been widened ...yippee.....however now if you happen to get over to far to the right it's like driving off a cliff. At least before there wasn't a drop off!. That is another accident waiting to happen. Someone is going to run off the right and that drop is going to throw them into a tree.
I have the same issue in Somerset with the lights in PAnne,on Rt13.. they are timed wrong the flashing signs start flashing to stop a few seconds before the light changes..makes it hard to stop so fast and people run the lights because of it.
DeleteWord among county employees today is that Luke Rommel will be involved with this firing of MKA at the Civic Center. I wish the county luck with dealing with that guy.

ReplyDeletedo city trucks or county trucks have geese as there logos, because a truck with geese was at Walmart for a long time yesterday - it was there when I went in and there when I came out. it had 13 on its fender, maybe it was just broke down.
