Fatal Accident On Rt. 50 & Powellville Rd. 12-16-16
Tractor trailer vs. car and it's not good. My source is telling me Rt. 50 is closed in both directions and there's a possibility it may be closed for an extended period of time as there may be more injuries.

ReplyDeleteSorry for the loss especially at this time of year, but it is becoming a daily occurrence on 50 from salisbury to OC. The inability of people to cross 50 safely is ridiculous and must be due to people being in a hurry or distracted. Light are required to be on, how can you not see a vehicle coming at you. Either fly overs or lights are needed. Personally, I don't care if it takes 2 hours to get to OC.

ReplyDeletePlease drivers stop playing chicken with oncoming traffic. Wait a few more minutes for a positively clear path to cross. Your life is more important than trying to race across a highway before incoming traffic gets there.
DeleteThe problem with putting up more stop lights is it creates more traffic congestion and actually creates the chance for more accidents and road rage.
