A federal court has declared that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is in default in a wrongful-death lawsuit filed by the families of two Benghazi victims.
The ruling does not, however, establish liability, and it’s probable that her lawyers eventually will seek to have the case dismissed or the default determination set aside.
WND reported in August the claims were brought by the parents of two of the Americans killed by Islamic terrorists in Benghazi.
The parents cited the FBI’s determination that Clinton handled classified information with “extremely careless” by using a nonsecure, private email server.
The case was brought in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia by lawyer Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch USA on behalf of Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, and Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods.
