Donald Trump said in an interview with Dr. Mehmet Oz that aired Thursday that he’s against requiring a prescription for birth control, calling it too tough of an ask for some women.
“I think what we have in birth control is … when you have to get a prescription, that’s a pretty tough something to climb, and I would say it should not be a prescription — it should not be done by prescription,” Mr. Trump said on “The Dr. Oz Show” in an appearance taped Wednesday.
“You have women that just aren’t in a position to go get a prescription, and more and more people are coming out and saying that, but I am not in favor of prescription for birth control,” he said.

Birth control doesn't require a prescription now , it does require self respect and religion.
ReplyDelete322 what does that even mean?
ReplyDeleteMaybe all the bible thumpers should begin adopting the unwanted black babies. You complain about paying for welfare and EBT, but don't want to provide easy/free birth control.
ReplyDeleteWhat's so hard about getting birth control? It's free with insurance now and if they are unemployed and uninsured, they can get medical assistance and go to Dr. for free yearly physical. Sounds pretty easy and cheap.
ReplyDeleteBirth control should be easy to get, on par with any OTC. I am sure many women, not wanting to deal with red tape or who couldn't afford a doctors prescription visit, just decided to take the risk, and ended up pregnant. Hell, abortions can be had without parents knowledge, so why go that far, head off the pregnancy with OTC birth control from the start. I'm sure a lot of girls didn't want to deal with a parents bull$&*^ trying to get birth control, so they didn't bother. I would rather all my tax dollars I pay each quarter (self employment tax) go towards birth control than for the bad result, an abortion or a welfare baby. Pro life or Pro choice, an abortion is a pain in the ..... For all the religious zealots, take the log out of your own eye before you try to judge the girl who wants to get contraception but can't for some stupid cumbersome, governmental, goody goody religious reason.
