Major networks have failed to keep viewers. All that I know watch Fox News Channel now and skip the local news channels. Just no interest in the BS they report.
I am so sick of WBOC they have the maxim commercials allowed by law and then there news is loaded with commercials. chopper 16 -Johnny Jonasick the Hertrick weather camera on the boardwalk and so on. They had a law passed that I can not watch other CBS stations on my satellite dish and then they have there 9 minutes of regular commercials then 21 minutes of news loaded with more commercials. I think they are breaking FCC regulations. Channel 47 is my only choice for local news. Imagine watching the world news and they stick commercials in the news while the are broadcast the news. "Today a bus turned over injuring four people sponsored by Hertrick"
Advertisers pay the bills. Us common folks have the option of changing channels when TV news does not meet our standards. Got a complaint, call the station and speak to management. Of course you will be required to give your name. Before calling WBOC, get your ducks in a row. Investigate FCC regs to see if WBOC is in actual violation.
I am confused by your statement that 47 is your only choice for local news (which in my opinion has just as many commercials as 16 and FOX News) but you quoted what was on today's WBOC news. Who are the "theys" that passed a law concerning CBS and Satellite dish.
Why not watch newscast on WBOC site. That is NOT what Steve Hammond said. Your picture is misleading. The Noon newscast was Steve Hammond in station with Chris Weimer on scene, agreeing crowds was larger than had been in Berlin earlier in the week. Your picture is misleading as Paul Butler was not in conversation.
They have posted a good video of helicopter coming into Fair Grounds.
At the beginning the crowd was not that big. I guess now everyone has either gotten off work or got off early and there are a lot of people there now.
ReplyDeleteThe crowd is bigger than WBOC's viewer rating.
ReplyDeleteBoycott WBOC sponsers and advertisers. My money is going to talk! Whats in your wallet?
ReplyDeleteWBOC is just pissed that one trump event gets more viewers than they get in a years ratings.
ReplyDelete{t's payday, and you won't be leaving work early. More will come. Hell, BERLIN made 10,00+!
ReplyDeleteGo, Donald! You will win, period!
They are a CBS affiliate. They have instructions.
ReplyDeleteDitto for the weather forecasting.

ReplyDeleteWBOC, You SUCK. Just close your doors, no one is going to miss you and your stupid Johnny Janosik commercials.

Well of course there were more people. Harrington fair grounds can accomodate more people than Stephen Decatur HS.
ReplyDeleteWe don't need news stations anymore.
ReplyDeletedemocratic rallies will always have more people attending, most of them wont work and are tired of playing keno, so what is left for them to do
