GOP Elites Secretly Meet and Plot to STEAL the 2016 Election

(Washington Post) – The presentation is an 11th-hour rebuttal to the fatalism permeating the Republican establishment: Slide by slide, state by state, it calculates how Donald Trump could be denied the nomination.

Marco Rubio wins Florida. John Kasich wins Ohio. Ted Cruz notches victories in the Midwest and Mountain West. And the results in California and other states are jumbled enough to leave Trump three dozen delegates short of the 1,237 required — forcing a contested convention in Cleveland in July.

The slide show, shared with The Washington Post by two operatives advising one of a handful of anti-Trump super PACs, encapsulates the newly emboldened view of many GOP leaders and donors. They see a clearer path to stopping Trump following his two losses and two narrower-than-expected wins on Saturday.

  1. The part that they are failing to realize is that the voting public is rejecting the establishment by voting for Trump and Cruz! If they steal the nomination through a brokered convention - Trump can run as an independent - and possibly win! The establishment would then be truly screwed by a new third party. The only vehicle currently available to the establishment now is to control the government via the house and senate - if they can retain their seats there!

  3. Maybe Mr. Trump should run as an independent. Neither party has any respect left from the people. Well said 12:08. map

  6. According to GMA this morning, a meeting has been called by Jeb Bush to Cruz, Rubio and Kasich before the Florida debate. Wonder what the are cooking up against Trump this time to try to get the Florida Vote away from them? They need to spend more time on defeating the Democrats than trying to defeat their own. It is going to backfire on them and they only will have their selves to blame.

  7. 5:51, we will see who laughs last. So let Moe, Larry and Curly (with the help of an empty Bush) try to take on Mr. Trump. He can handle them with one "small hand" behind his back. map
