  3. WBOC can't read their double doppler. What else is new? If Accuweather said it was going to snow two days ago. Welcome to the sticks!

  4. It gets even funnier!!! WMDT website calls to a chance of rain or snow today!!!! Flurries tomorrow!!! Maybe someone needs to step outside their warm comfortable office and see the snow! I'm in Hebron and it is snowing it's ass off!!!! Really sad!

  5. Remember Weather Forecast's you can trust!!!!
Dan is the man with the plan!!!!
Why do we always get rejects from other areas?

  6. Dan said it was supposed to be sunny today!!!

  7. Almost an inch on the ground now! Dan where are you?

  8. The reason you get the rejects is because on Nielsen, this is the last market on the list. People don't generally want to work for the lower tier stations because the money is bad and they don't produce quality shows (audition tapes) to move them up the chain. Hence, why our anchors tend to stay here much longer than in other markets.

Sad they can't seem to predict the weather with all their high-tech equipment and fancy studio set.

Agreed, they should step outside their warm offices and 'see' the weather. In fact, due to their cameras located all over the Eastern Shore, why don't they go to their own control room?

  10. When will the school closings start pouring in, being that snow usually closes them before (repeat BEFORE) anything else - including the events of last week!

  11. I just took my dogs out, and had to shovel my steps and the deck. There is over an inch on the ground now. Thanks to you Dan, I didn't see this coming. Had to go out to my shed to get my show shovel. If you had done your job right we could have known ahead of time and planned accordingly!

  12. In my years of shore living, I have always heard the weather here is hard to predict because DelMarVa Peninsula is between the Ocean and Bays. That is why I am inclined to look on the computer for up to date weather forecast. Local TV is good to check for chlosings.

  15. Forecast this morning from WBOC:
We will see some light snow across Delmarva this Sunday. It should not have a big impact on the roads, since they are still very warm considering it was in the 50s the last few days.

If we do see any accumulations, it will be on grassy surfaces and it should be a dusting at the most. This will not be a big deal.

The big deal is the cold for Monday and Tuesday. We talk about how cold it will be and how cold it will feel on the WBOC News This Morning, starting at 8am. ... See More

Wow! They sure got that wrong!!!!
    Delmarva deserves better!

  16. Still snowing. Two inches here in Hebron! According to Dan, it must be my imagination!
Don't see any sign of let up!
What do you have to say for yourself Dan?

  17. Roads are now snow covered and there is 2.5 inches on the ground. Pine trees are hanging low and there is no let up in the snow that is coming down! I'm not happy with WBOC? Someone needs to be fired over this and that person should be DAN!!!!!

  18. Can't plan your day around wboc weather report.

  19. Maybe you people shouldn't rely on just one source for your weather.

    ReplyDelete
  20. For a non-weather event, it's really snowing and accumulating fast out there. Everyone be careful. The roads are very slippery.

  21. Over an inch in Pocomoke, roads slushy.

  22. Giant is now packed everybody. To all those out on the road, be safe!

  23. WBOC forecast still hasn't changed. Lite snow possible!!!!! I'll bet there won't be any apology from them or Dan admitting he was wrong!

  24. Maybe the double or triple Doppler is broken.
