New York City's two big tabloids embraced Donald Trump's latest presidential endorsementwith their Wednesday-morning front pages.
The Daily News, a frequent Trump critic, took a much more direct shot at the Republican presidential front-runner and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), who endorsed Trump the day before.
The News put a photo of them together with the headline: "I'M WITH STUPID."
That was followed with the text: "Hate minds think alike: Palin endorses Trump." And then the tabloid ran a headline about Palin's son being arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman: "SARAH'S DRUNK SON BEAT GAL PAL, WAVED RIFLE: COPS."

I'm so shocked NYC doesn't like Trump or Palin, they have a communist as Mayor for goodness sake.
ReplyDeletePalin is very popular with the Tea Party, but with the Conservative Elite, her down-home moniker is quirky and corny.
ReplyDeleteShe lost me when she claimed Africa was a country not a continent. Her handlers really let her down on that account.
ReplyDeletewho cares what Sarah Palin does, history has already told us she is stupid, he is a fool to make such a show as someone while running for office. She did not have a clue as to this nation's history, what was going on in her own state Alaska, she is clueless they are a perfect match all bluster and attention no substance.
ReplyDelete9:08 And we care about Africa?
ReplyDeleteHopefully this is a kiss of death for lying, liberal Trump.
9:20AM, I think you missed the point. Low informed voter, welcome to Earth.
ReplyDeleteDon't think so 9:20, libs like YOU are going down.
ReplyDelete9:30 Libs like me? Haha... I am as right leaning as they come. I also am not a "low informed voter" as I see through Trumps BS. Trump, Hillary OR Sanders would be the nail in the coffin for the US.
ReplyDeleteTrump is saying and doing what his handlers tell him the christian right wants to hear. He is pro abortion, pro amnesty, pro gay marriage... all anti christian right views, yet you cheer.
Can't fix stupid.
10:14AM you're still missing the point. People are resonating with Trump because he's not an establishment professional politician. The fact is, people are tired of the same BS on the Hill. They're worn out with year in, year out song and dance all the while being taxed and over legislated to death.
ReplyDeleteYou say you can see through Trump's BS? What about every other candidate? Rubio wants to legalize illegals through amnesty and give them a free ride in our colleges. That's BS. Cruz would be viable but is he ready? Christie? Please!
Trump is not a BS kind of guy. He's a straight shooter to the point of obliterating the PC code of the political noose.
Let's face it, 10:14AM, they're all full of it and so are the voters. Everyone has their own agenda-an angle. You can't be alive without one. All we can do is get behind someone who appears to have our interests at heart and pray for the best.
ReplyDeleteElections and politics are insanity that surely our founding fathers did not anticipate. It's become big business. A real money mover and shaker. We look for that honest man much like Diogenes and are often disappointed.
This being said, I want America to be great again. The last two decades have been a disgrace and it's time for new faces in DC. While Trump is far from a new face, he's a face that is not owned by anyone because he has more money than Roosevelt. Perhaps this affluence will free him from the pet-project lobbying, omni-bill mentality that has eroded our governing bodies and reeked havoc on our socioeconomic world.
We will never have a president without an agenda. Trump may not be owned, but I am concerned he really does not have the peoples best interest in mind. I think he is fooling a lot of people. I do like the fact that he speaks his mind and is addressing the PC issues. But Trump is looking out for Trump. I prefer him over any democrat and many republicans. Just not sure he is the best option we have for the country.
ReplyDelete10:14 since you are so brillant, who is your choice for president? I'm suspecting Bush.
ReplyDelete10:56AM, I agree. There is an agenda there for sure. At this point, its been opaque but it will surface, given time. I do; however, believe he really wants to put this country back on track. If you really think about it, that is good for his own money-making agenda, as it strengthens the dollar in the world markets.
ReplyDeleteYou have to hand it to him, like many fat cats, he could've said, "I'm great here on Fifth Ave. Let the rest eat cake..." He's no idiot. He knew he would be vilified, demonized, ostracized and everything else in between. He didn't have to run. He would still be making money hand over fist from The Apprentice and all the other Trump brands.
He has taken a proactive stance unlike the Rockefellers, Carnegies and Mellons of our oil/railroad baron past.
It is a reality show campaign, all show with no substance. Exactly what she has always represented.
ReplyDeleteThe media is one big tabloid.
ReplyDeleteTrump repeats the same couple adjectives over and over again and somehow low IQ voters are in a hypnotic state over this man.
