Wicomico Recreation’s Annual Youth & Adult Chess Tournaments Return February 5 & 6

Salisbury, MD – Be the first to shout "Checkmate!" at Wicomico Recreation's Annual Chess Tournaments at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. The Youth Tournament will be held on Friday, February 5, followed by the Adult Tournament on Saturday, February 6.

Youth Tournament (Ages 5-18)
Friday, Feb. 5, Registration Opens at 5 p.m., Play Begins at 5:30 p.m.
Guaranteed 4 Matches
Multiple Age Divisions (based on registration)
Registration Fees: $7 In Advance, $12 At The Door

Adult Tournament (Ages 19+)
Saturday, Feb. 6, Registration Opens at 8 a.m., Play Begins at 8:30 a.m.
Guaranteed 3 Matches
Rated & Unrated Divisions
Registration Fees: $12 In Advance, $17 At The Door

Players are encouraged to bring their own chess sets and clocks. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each division.
